Fire the makeup artists!

I honestly don't understand what is going through the heads of the producer/ director to let shivangi always shoot scenes where her makeup is like that. I saw today's episode and shivi's makeup put me off so much. Why don't they tell the makeup artists to stop giving her drag queen makeup, and make her makeup more pretty and soft? Shivi is such a doll and so naturally beautiful, but they literally make her into a makeup ki dukaan. Just because it is a function, it doesn't mean they have to go OTT with her makeup. Her eyebrows looked so thickly drawn on and look like black blocks, her eyeshadow isn't at all blended, and they need to take it easy on the bold lips. Plus the overuse of eyeliner. This kind of makeup ages her ridiculously, and it is no wonder poor shivi keeps getting mocked for her makeup, when the makeup artists who work on her are terrible. You would think they would hire good makeup artists, or at least these so-called makeup artists would have a sense of what looks good on a person. Please tell me I am not the only one annoyed about the way shivi's makeup is done?

I agree. In efforts to make her look over the top they made her look too harsh which is hard on the eyes. For the function they could have chosen a very pretty color outfit that was soft and feminine with makeup that enhanced her features instead of black. For me it was more like a vamp like dressing. It was not suitable for her age. Then they gave her a grand entrance as if it was her function.

Overall the female family members had on nice sari's but they had everyone wear the same red jewelry like a uniform except for Naira and what she was wearing was not very beautiful.

Keerti was not dressed up like it was her Sangeet as she blended with the crowd with the same red jewelry.

I've seen the family all dressed much better on other occasions so was disappointed with the overall looks of everyone. It seems not much time and attention to detail was paid for this function.

The singer, Alka Yagnik looked most classy and graceful in the whole event.

The way Naksh and Keerti's wedding functions are being presented it is not as the focus is primarily on them. It is being presented as it is Naira's brothers wedding. The arguments took place over Naira's dressing and it was given more importance than how Kirti looked on her Sangeet day which should have been the primary focus. In that sense the Singhania's did partiality with Kirti as their main focus was on how Naira looked and that was made center of attention. Even during the Sangeet the main focus was centered around Naira/Karthik. The impression given is that through all the functions they will be the main focus, not the wedding couple.

The function just missed the mark. The red jewelry was distracting and ugly. They made Parul Chauhan look bad. She looks very beautiful on all her other episodes.
I liked Naira's more simple look in her original dress as she looked more elegant and classy with her hair open. Sometimes understated makes the viewer focus on the beauty of the person vs the loud makeup and clothes which are distracting. Black was just a bad choice with the gaudy getup when indian clothes are known to be so beautiful and colorful.

Well they definitely need a good makeup artist not only for Shivi but for Parul too as YRKKH outfits are too cool. I do like her makeup most of the times but during functions it can be improved as Shivi has such a star personality but even with not so good makeup she outshines with her performance. I particularly love experimentation with her hair styles which pretty much cover up for the makeup. The point is they need a good makeup artist for sure.

i agree with the better make up artist part but disagree the reason of shivi getting taunts for makeup.its not coz of the makeup artist but bcoz of sum jlous haters who just need to spread negativity about her.i can point out numerous of actresses who puts more layers of makeup than shivi but the taunts r only for her coz they hate her.dont wanna compare but the makeup of another show's FL in her wedding just few days ago was so horrible.so makeupartist isnt the reason its the hatred.they cant find reason to hate her in case of popularity so lets spread hatred abt looks..well,i didnt find her that bad in keesh sangeet.the outfit was extremely gorgeous so the hairstyle.makeup yes they did overdo but she carried it really well which matters.it depends on the look n outfits.in keesh engagement she had minimal makeup..infact attimes it looked like she only has put eye liner n mascara.that look was like that.sangeet's look was diff.she looked different n pretty with her style so iwont complain but makeup artist needsto uplift his game in yrkkh for all

@anujha if Shivi did that then media would right articles saying that she makes fuss on little things and her haters would speak against her on that point (no offence to the topic maker, she only talked about the make up artist and doesn't pick on everything Naira/Shivi does.).

The makeup has started deteriorating since kaira vivah.. be it the excess blusher during kaira vivah or the waxy looking makeup on naksh's tilak or the poorly done makeup yesterday.. i feel shivangi and to some.extent parul need to do their makeup themselves.they know their face better than the.makeup artists.
