I think that Abhigaya need no comparisons and their guest like appearance in this Ganesh utsav is enough to highlight their importance in the telly world, they have become one of the most recognized and loved jodi on screen. There is no comparison on purpose here between KDB and KKB, it is just that since we viewers are already longing for Abhigaya reunion and the writers are playing with our emotions for too long that we are not able to welcome any distractions. All actors in both the serials are doing their parts well, it is the reception and perception of their roles among the viewers which is a more important factor.

Zee shouldn't have promoted it as merger when the maximum focus was on kdb n luthras n. AbhiGya just being guests.

THIS. Exactly how I felt. My biggest issue was that the GC episode was promoted as a merger, when in fact, TiSha were placed on the sidelines to react to what was actually a KDB episode.

Also, i actually loved their performance but they only got a less than 3 minute performance. Even when they visited Pavitra Rishta for the first year, they danced to Ajeeb Dastaan, Gandi Baat and Tum hi ho!! And Abhigya always get a multi-song performance. This only nailed in the fact that they were only visitors on a KDB maha-episode. So it shouldn't have been promoted as a KKB merged episode.

I tuned in to zee yesterday believing the promo about the merger but ended up watching some thing I'm not interested. Why trick/cheat viewers using kkb?

Happen to read a spoiler, seems that OTT yawning indoor cricket match from GC special episode has not yet ended its going to continue in this weeks real KDB episodes with some drama around it 😵, and so would Abhi-Munni commentary for that silly match..🥱

I can see many are upset about kkb not being in the lead in this GC episode😊. KKB and KDB merging for the GC episode does not mean kkb actors have to be in the lead.😛 Viewers can say abhigya are senior, etc. The channel can't afford to do that. I don't think Balaji would have wanted that either. That would send a message they don't consider kdb an equally important show for them. But one thing is getting more and more clearer - they do want to downplay kkb. More on this in a different post as it's off topic here!! 😊

I feel they did not put much thought into the GC mahaepi. That's it! The promos have always been misleading in kkb, so I'm not surprised they showed Abhi/"Pragya" with the aarti plate to make it look like they are the main hosts. Actually, Jeetendra is always the main person for this event.

Also I read in Bollywood Life that in this GC epi Pragya will come to MM and we'll find out who Preeta is paired with. None of that happened. Looks like they changed the content of the mahaepi and did not tie it with the current tracks for both kkb and kdb.
