Why Varun not arrested?

One scene in today's episode really confused me. Gyan asks the police officer to arrest Varun since he killed Baldev. And the officer told Gyan that Varun is a reputed doctor.. so does this mean that if doctors crash into ppl, they wont be arrested? And even after Varun and Siddhi themselves came and admitted it, the police still did nothing abt it! This entire scene completely confused me... why wasn't Varun arrested? Because it was an 'accident'? All car crashes are accidents arent they?

Yes, I do think that is is quite strange that Varun is not arrested because of an "accident". Whether it is an accident or not, one still has to pay for ones mistakes. Whether your are rich or poor, educated or not, a doctor or a businessman.

I can't believe the inane excuses the police made about why they could not arrest Varun based on his status. He is a good man?!? 😕 He knocked a man dead, didn't admit to it and he is a good man?!? Someone explain how that makes him a good man!
