Still in daze watching today's episode...
But before I move to Nakuul, Can I just take a moment to shamelessly drool over this woman named Surbhi Chanda ( gender not being a hindrance🤣 ), who proves me wrong every single time I conclude that her acting can't get more perfect than it already is , and decides to slay every bit of the screen in every single microsecond of today's episode, with her impeccable way of pulling Anika's character off.
Jeez, her change of expression from the carefree smile when she was about to tell him what Sahil was saying, to the worry her eyes gave away sensing something is wrong with Shivay, to the Panic mode she went into when he was silent, to her horrific and terrified state when he revealed he knows the truth, to her oh-so-unique way of consoling Shivay by cupping and stroking his cheeks as a reassurance that the truth changes not even 0.00000000001% of how she sees him or what he is to her and the desperation she displayed by hastily touching his jaw, shoulder and chest, to let him know that whatever she did was not because she flipped due tot his truth but because she knew that it will make a difference to him...
How effortlessly this woman completes every scene of hers!! And what rivets me the most is how she speaks through her eyes. Her eyes give away SO much emotions that I sometimes feel like, if Gulneet ever decides to bring in an episode of Maunvrat for her, Shivay would ace the day 😆 *MashAllah* *kala Tika* *touchwood*
TAKE A BOW, SURBHI CHANDA! You deserve all the love, admiration, respect, support and much much much more!🤗
Coming to Nakuul, I'm still trying to figure out how this man always ends up ruling my heart at the end of every episode.🤔
I'm not gonna go in depth about him because I know most of today's posts on IB would be about him since he was the highlight of today's episode. However, I won't be able to spend the day in peace if I don't say this:
One of the most beautifully crafted emotion he portrayed today through his eyes and body language, till this date, was in the first bit of the episode, when Anika spoke of her fear that her decision of leaving him and keeping him away from the truth was solely because she was terrified that he won't be able to take such a huge blow and would shatter. And holy mother of god, the way he stared at her in confusion, daze and awe at her indirect confession about his importance and value in her life, thinking again and again how this girl can love him to such an extent, and that anguished 'Anika' that left from his mouth before he strode out of the room without a backward glance...
The partial divulgement of the truth, and Anika's confession & her fear for his splintered self had overwhelmed him to such an extent that all he could do was whisper her name, hold her wrist that was already lying on him and stroke her cheeks.
This one gesture of him just gave away countless emotions he had piled up in himself and hadn't been able to speak out loud to her. His solace and consolation seeing the fear and panic in her eyes, his undivided and unconditional love for this woman that came into light in those mere 5 seconds, all through his eyes, his way of calling her name and the way he cupped her cheeks, just had me in awe.
I'm so glad they hadn't included any additional dialogues to display those emotions and indirect confession because I don't think it would have touched this level of perfection if they sketched this scene in any other way.
If I had it in me, I would have honored these two slayers and perfectionists with all the awards in the world. Nakuul & Surbhi, you two complete the character of Shivay and Anika and I don't thin anyone else would be able to portray every layers of Shivay and Anika so spectacularly and effortlessly.👏
A striking episode indeed!
P.S. No comments on the last scene, I know the entire forum will be filled with 'Pinky and SSO's shatir way of getting the truth out' posts😆 But I'm still unable to believe that it all actually happened...
P.P.S. "Meri Anika ki Khilaf ek shabd nahi sununga main"
