I knew he'd reject Anami by calling her illegitimate but rejecting her based on her jatta and wild looks, what an ass! He rejects Narottam on grounds of feminine looks and Anami for her wild look. What sort of father rejects their child on such grounds. He doesn't deserve Anami.

come'on give the guy some time. he got the biggest shock of his life. He just said he doesnt believe such a girl can be his daughter. He is hurting so he is saying such things. besides he didnt say anything like that to anami just to satrupa

Im looking forward for daughter-father bonding. I liked the eye contact tashan they had going on

I don't think he is a disappointment.

Poor fellow got the biggest shock of his life

He got to know that he has a daughter...he is a grieving father who has very recently lost his son , he is a man who has lost everything...his father disowned him, he is not on good terms with his wife , his wife is more worried about the power and money at least this is what he believes...all he had was his son and he lost him

And now he is forced to adopt someone who can inherit the throne

Amidst all this he gets to know that he has a daughter whom he is seeing for the first time in 17 years

He doesn't trust Satrupa

And that is why he is in shock and cannot come to terms with the reality..he is not able to accept that he has a daughter and thus is finding reasons to believe that Anami cannot be his daughter

I am really looking forward to see the father - daughter equation and bond.

I am sure Baldev's heart will melt once he will come to know that Anami really is his daughter..even Anami will bond with Baldev eventually.

We should give the poor fellow a chance and time...at least I will

I think Baldev is in self protection mode. He doesn't trust Satrupa and believes she can do anything for power. Even if deep down he does believe that Anami is his his pain at Vatsalya's loss is too great to risk opening his heart to Anami, in case this is all Satrupa's ploy. He hasn't recovered from the loss of one child and accepting another only to lose her would break him completely.

I still feel that what he said yesterday applies more than what he said today. His one dialogue, Ek baap ko pata bhi nahi ke uski ek beti bhi hai, applies and is more meaningful than anything he said today.

Like people said above, he's disappointed. He's hurt. And he doesn't trust Satrupa. As he slowly gets to know Anami and sees how much she's like him and Satrupa his stance will change.

Today he was hurt, disappointed, and skeptical of what Satrupa said and so he said whatever he could to show that he didn't believe Anami was his child. No matter what he says, he can't undo his above dialogue. Because that was him in his most raw moment and at that time only the truth comes out of your mouth.

What ever he did was natural:)why should he trust satrupa n why will anyone trust her ? Nobody knows abt d girl n when convinient she bought her out!

I loved baldev Anami scene it was beautiful<3 They are soo alike yet soo diff<3

Baldev questioned satrupa... or blasted on her...I understand it was his shock... but he asked if Anami was her illegitimate child?
LOL... @ CVs ... seriously? kucch bhi...
If she was His illegitimate child... understand like Narottam...it is possible
In this case... Satrupa was in Lal mahal ... if she was pregnant after Vatsalya... it is seven long months... at least baby bump shows up.. it is not like men ... women can not hide...

How can she give birth to Anami ? if she had conceived before or after Vatsalya... without anyone in Lalmahal noticing her... LOL

I've read some news articles saying he is going to pull some cheap stunts to prove that Anami is not his child. I think he is hell bent on proving that he is not the only one who has an out of wedlock child. Its not about denial, its about proving he is not the only one with a questionable character hence I think we'll be more disappointed.

I dont think they will turn baldev negative like that. if he ever tries to false prove anami as not his daughter i think it will be for her safety, he blames satrupa that vatsalya died because she was greedy of money and power.He died because he was the next in kin, now anami is going to be so he fears she will meet the same end as his son. He is probably protective of his one and only kid right now.
