i dont care if ishwari behaves the way she behaved yesterday. she is like that.
always thinking what she says or thinks is right. but any mom who gave birth
to her child will have lots of concerns when she comes to know that her daughters
pregnancy may be threatening to her daughters life. but here asha is so cool. i hate
it when she always tries to shut up bijoy as if she is the only one sensible and intelligent
here. she took devs talks so casually. no mother does that.

and on top of that her dialogue that what will ishwari think if she interferes. such regressive
dialogue. is ishwaris reaction more important to her than her daughters life. asha is a useless
mom. period.

Frankly Asha with her know it all attitude, makes it very difficult for me to like her. She is worried what Ishwari will think but not about her daughter's life.

Frankly it's only Dev and little bit Bijoy who is worried about Sonakshi's life. No one else cares. But Sonakshi will never prioritise Dev.

She hasn't impressed me as a wife. till the season 1 when Devakshi were struggling to smoothen their marriage, I could accept her behaviour as a rookie wife mistakes. But now that Dev puts her well being and health on highest priority, she pays little attention to him

Even Asha dismissed Dev's worries like they amount to nothing.😲

all characters in the show always worry more about Ishwari & her needs and her wants and her feelings.. than the actual person impacted! whole track is regressive and Devakshi behaving like teenagers with no say in the process.. uneducated mother is making decisions by manipulating.. just because she wants a boy.. thanking Sona for being so selfless in the process. Seriously.. sooo regressive inthe name of entertainment! Birth mother is acting "ab laDki paraayi hai. jo karna hai karo. Now she is Dixit property" only Bijoy, as always, caring for his daughter's life and Dev who loves her. Women in the show are disgusting 😡

I was actually surprised by Asha's reaction especially her explanation that she cannot interfere as Ishwari might feel bad. If it was the Asha of Season 1 then I could still understand her apprehension but seeing this from Asha of Season 2 is surprising as she herself considers Ishwari as a good friend and vice versa. Also I am more or less sure that Ishwari would have at least listened to Asha, agreeing or disagreeing is another thing but she would have listened. I believe all this was just to show how Sonakshi's and Ishwari's bond has evolved even if it the characters behave illogically. In fact I found Bijoy's initial reaction as well weird considering his daughters life might be at stake but then He returned to his core character.. But yes I expected more from the level headed Asha

this is regressive for many reasons:

1. Asha considers worrying for her married daughter equivalent to interference in her married life. Asha's equation with Ishwari notwithstanding, why should a parent not worry when told that daughter's life could be at stake if she continues with this pregnancy.

2. Ishwari will be overwhelmed with Sonakshi's selflessness because Sonakshi will continue with this pregnancy even at the cost of her life. 😕

I think it is very very good that the serial is ending. it is hailing conservatism and misogyny very artistically. We don't need it in a country where many women die while giving birth to children.

Sonakshi will survive. Claps for her luck.👏🥱

True that. This show embellishes regressive ideas and serves it to us on a platter. I was surprised that instead of being concerned for sonakshi, Ishwari was lauding her sacrificing abilities. It's like telling a donkey how good it is for carrying load.
In a country like us, where the society is very conservative, still, characters like Ishwari kind of validates the behaviour of lot of mother in law. I don't mind if they are showing this as reality, but to glorify it as love, come on Noone will buy that. The sona ish equation looks too forced. The actors estate especially erica don't look convincing in those scenes
I'm happy the show is ending. What they are showing is not reality but a monarchy where everything is as per ishwaris wishes.

For a couple of episodes have been only reading updates. Frankly the show is hard to like now with all illogical tracks.

Ishwari is truly god. Everything is about what she wants & all the rest are bending backwards to please her. Asha & sona have been difficult to fathom. Also the romance is completely gone & we have to be happy with a hug here & there.

What a waste of the chemistry between the leads. Makes one glad that it's ending. What an end to a serial which was truly different esp for the initial episodes.

Preethik, I get your concern but I found few very strong positives too...
i loved the whole pregnancy friendly office concept.👍🏼
About time, the employers start designing workplace and work hours, etc for pregnant women employees. Many women would like to work while in the process and after becoming mothers.

Many employers including my own, do make small efforts to ensure a smooth time for pregnant employees. Also, all of Dev's suggestions and efforts to make this easy for Sona😳. Wow..

I am loving Dev a lot these days😎 He wants nothing but safety and happiness of Sona.⭐️😳

Though Dev is going a little over board, but he won't be Dev if he doesn't go over board. Also some of the methods he adopted were funny, but the message is clear. Welcome to work pregnant women. Sit cozy and easy if you must work😊

Even though the makers do not show active romance, it is visible in Dev's care and concern.
Also first with Laksh making efforts for a pregnancy friendly office, then Dev , then showing a senior citizen being employed at a start up, another senior women publishing a best seller, they have sent a strong message - Women, pursue your dreams, continue working... it's cool!

will ignore Ishwari's 'selfless Sona since she wants to continue pregnancy even at the cost of her life' and Asha's ' won't worry about my married daughter coz her MIL may not like it" dialogues. They made me cringe and I want to forget them

I agree that there have been a lot of positives in this show. I still would not term the show as regressive but what gets my goat is the total butchering of the charachters. The pendulum has swung so wildly that it's hard to relate to the charachters.
