I loved the way Anami told Madhu that this was a one year banwas while pointedly looking at Satrupa and Satrupa's calm poise seemed to say 'say what you will but you'll do what I say'.
'Tum ziddi ho par hum bhi aapki ma hain' The battle of wills between two strong personalities will, I hope, be a treat to watch.(I'm already so invested in this show that I'm scared it might fall into the silly scheming shown in other shows)
I too want the pandit family to somehow be brought to LM but then that will take away from Anami's anger against Satrupa and that needs to remain raw for now.
Perhaps Satrupa would have handled things differently if Damo had kept her mouth shut. She did try to say I'm your mother and I love you...I know, kinda hollow after 17 years. She told Damo to keep quiet but by that time the damage had been done and Anami had her ace 'would you be here today if your son hadn't died?' Bringing the police was necessitated by the preponement oh the pagdi rasam but also of course to increase Anami's hostility towards her mother and the situation she finds herself in. I'm actually kind of happy not to see a long drawn out process of the mother trying to cajole the daughter and then perhaps ending up doing the same police thing in the end anyway. I love the crispness of this show.
Two things I'm looking forward to are firstly the father daughter equation and then how will the parents handle Anami. Will they be able to put up a joint front to help their daughter or has too much damage already been done and will their relationship further increase the chasm between Anami and Satrupa.
