Why is Broadcast IPKKND 3 different than Online version

I record & watch IPKKND 3 in US (Dish Network) the 5 pm broadcast. But since my mornings are freeier, I watch on-line version in the morning (since it is already available for that day), so essentially I watch it twice...

First time I noticed a difference is when everyone in this forum was talking about grabbing Chandini hand on terrace after Advay forces her to come upstairs, but didn't find anything in the broadcast episode.. then the PP baba on fire.. and I had no idea what people were talking about.. since in broadcast episode, it is completely cut out.. just abruptly shows Chandini throwing water on PP

After this, I started noticing a good few minutes are being trimmed in broadcast episode.. like the entire scene of Indrani confessing to Mama that she wanted Chandini to be finished during kidnapping.. & the FB scenes of Chandini escaping is cut.. similarly there are so many scenes that is being chopped off.. that it is interfering with viewing..

Wonder why????

BTW, does anyone else notice same issue, esp. India/UK broadcast??

Yeah my friends in UK, Singapore , Qatar said the same thing ... Quite a substantial chuck is cut , I don't know why

I wonder about the original broadcast in India.. is the scenes cut for more advertising.. sometimes the cut is so bad & the plot is lost.. it is only because I watch online earlier that I can mentally fill the holes..

Could this be reason for reduced TRPs??

Hi ,

i think its to do with the laws relating to violence in general , violence against women , language etc etc that differ from country to country due to which its chopped off on the TV broadcast.

TV channels produce a single episode thats common to all international audience and have to hence consider the laws in unison in all the countries that the show is broadcasted in.

Hence why scenes of Advays mum being burnt etc will be chopped off.

I think its called as syndication cuts, but syndication is usually connected with the amout of time they want to give to commercials, and hence differ from country to country.

But with the UK and USA i think it is mainly to do with violence, improper language, even dialogues indicating violent intentions etc etc. malarkey., Its just a pain i guess,

Actually they show Advay's mum being burnt.. just some random scenes are cut, not sure about UK, but lot of US shows are way more violent than anything our poor Indian Sabun can come up with.. I think it might be due to commercial demand for this show

Yeah quite possible , As i said its called Syndication and done as they want to insert ads , so the time slot for ads are different for diff countries, hence some senseless freelance editor who doesn't understand the language etc, will sit in his editing room and chop things as he wishes, I dont think the channel itself or the producers of the show etc have a say in this.
