Maan was silently hearing Geet's accusations but when it goes over his head, he just pulled her by her arms yelling "Will you stop judging me? What do you think about yourself haan? I was behaving so calmly with you that doesn't mean I accepted you. It was just because my dadi, my dad they accepted you, they considered you as their daughter and I don't want to hurt them that's why I didn't say anything to you but you take me so wrong.." he pushed her slightly. "How could you even think I would take advantage of any situation..? Do you think me so cheap?" he said disgusted. "All men aren't same who craves for getting physical, at least I am not type of guy" saying this he turned frustrated while Geet cried, he again furiously turned at her and held by her arms saying "Listen Geet.. Keep my words in your mind properly. It's true that I can't divorce you but it's also true I can't love you, so whatever thoughts you put about me in your mind, just throw them out. Okay?" saying this he free her and left the room fumed while Geet sat there crying.

Geet cried vigorously while remembering Maan's words. "I shouldn't misbehave with him" she realized her mistake and cried thinking overnight how her fate changed.

Next morning Maan walked in his room and saw Geet was sleeping on the floor with her head resting on the bed, he couldn't resist himself but stared at her innocent face, she was looking so cute. Maan recalled last night incident that how badly he behaved with her but in next moment, he remembered how she misunderstood him and slapped him. "Meri neend ko kharab karke khud chain se so rahi hai."

He looked around and found the water jug, he poured the water on her face when Geet woke up with a startled. "What? What happened?" she asked horrified wiping her face.

"Wake up. It's 8 in the morning." Maan said pointing at the clock.

"Oh.." she gets up, meanwhile Maan took his office suit from wardrobe and was going to leave when Geet said "Maan.. I am sorry for the.." but before she could say Maan said rudely "I don't need your sorry. Keep it in your pocket." saying this he left from there.

After changing into a simple saree, Geet came downstairs and took blessing from Dadi and YR when Gayatri taunted her saying "You haven't any shame. Nayi bahu hokar 9baje kamre se nikal rahi ho.." Geet looked down saying "Sorry mummyji, this will not repeat."

"Gayatri why are you taunting her? She might be tired, that's why she couldn't wake up on time. Don't create issues on small things please." Dadi chided and turned at Geet saying "Geet puttar.. Today is your first day at this house so you go to kitchen and make some dessert for us. Can you make this?" Dadi asked.

"Jee dadi.." Geet said looking down.

"Then great.. Go and make whatever you want.. Servants are there inside, if you need anything ask them." Dadi said showing her the way to kitchen and Geet left.

At the breakfast table, Maan was silently having his breakfast when the servant came with 'Halwa' bowl and served it to everyone.

"Maan bete, have it and say how is it?" Dadi asked passing him the bowl.

Though Gayatri was going to say something but Dadi simply glared at her and she didn't say anything further. "It's delicious dadi."

He looked up at the servant saying "You cooked so well."

"No sir.. Geet ma'am cooked it."

"Oh.." he placed the bowl on table as his expression changed, he turned back and saw Geet was coming. "Dadi, I have an important meeting. I have to go."

"But bete.. Have your breakfast, at least have that Halwa.."Dadi insisted.

"I am done Dadi." He said looking at Geet and left the place while Gayatri smirked thinking, "Their relation isn't so strong, I don't think I have to take any steps to separate them."

Once Maan left, Geet felt sad as she knew Maan didn't have his breakfast as he saw her there and that thought made her feel guilty, Geet also left from there.

Geet was sitting in her room while thinking "I have to say him sorry somehow." She was lost in her thoughts when Dadi called her by name.

"Dadi, you? Please come."

"Geet bete.. I know you must be feeling hurt for Maan's behavior. I am sorry for.." But Geet didn't let her say, "No Dadi please.. Don't be sorry. Actually it was my fault that's why he is behaving so rude." And then she explained everything to Dadi.

"Geet bete I know it's not easy to accept Maan so easily but now you have to understand it that now Maan is your present and future. Ab aapko uske sath hi apni poori zindagi bitani hai. Ab aapko ek dusre ke sath rehna hai, ek dusre ko samajhna hoga Geet."

"Jee Dadi."

"You go at his office and have a talk with him and sort out the misunderstanding okay?" Dadi said caressing her cheek, Geet nodded.

At office,

Geet walked in his office and asked to the reception "Umm.. Where's Maan?"

"Sir is in conference room but you?" The receptionist asked.

"Ugh.. I.. Tell him my name, he will understand. Geet, my name is Geet."

"Okay ma'am. You please sit here." saying this she made a call to Maan and after talking with him, she said to Geet, "Ma'am.. Sir asked you to wait in his cabin." The receptionist said showing her the way, Geet followed her.

Inside the cabin, Geet was admiring the decoration of the cabin, she went to the huge glass window from where she could get a better view of the city when suddenly she heard the door was opening, she turned and saw Maan walked in, as he saw her they shared short eye lock. Geet stepped ahead towards him when suddenly her feet slipped and she lost her balance and about to fall but Maan ran to her and hold her by her waist on time, they shared an eye-lock but Maan was the first who moved his eyes from her while made her stand on her feet.

"Why did you come here?" He asked turning away.

"Umm I.." She composed herself, "Yeah.. Dadi send lunch for you."

"I am not hungry." He replied.

Geet turned at him, "Maan, why are you behaving so rude? I know I have done a mistake but that was the natural reaction, don't you think so? Yes, I misunderstand you, my fault and I realized it. I am sorry." She said looking down.

"Done?" Maan asked looking at her when she looked up at him. "Now you can go."

"Listen Maan.. Now you are over reacting." She said fuming while pointing her finger at him, Maan calmly looked at her. "Stop doing drama and have your lunch okay?" Saying this she walked towards the table to serve him meanwhile Maan kept looking at her as he never expected that she would come to manofy him after the last night incident.

He was lost in his thoughts when his phone rang, he saw dadi was calling him, he received, "Hello?"

"Maan bete, did Geet reach?" She asked.

"Yes."

"Bete.. Geet especially made the lunch for you and she didn't have her lunch yet, so whatever misunderstanding you both have, sort it out there only, don't trouble her much, Okay?" As dadi said, Maan looked at her amazed. 'she didn't had lunch for him.'

"Okay.. I'll talk with you later." Saying this he hang up the call, and proceeded towards the sofa, he sat there while Geet served him the lunch and was going to leave when Maan held her hand, she turned at him.

"You don't need to do all this Geet." He said calmly while she looked at him confuse. "Dadi called and told me, you made the lunch for me."

Geet smiled and took sit beside him, "Maan, may be our relation wasn't started with a good but dadi made me understand that now we have to live together.. So, from somewhere we have to start a fresh right? So, why not from friendship, we start it all."

"You should have understood it last night then I wouldn't get the slap." He laughed slightly.

"I'm sorry for that." She apologized.

"You should be.."

"Anyways.. Now have your lunch." She said signaling at the plate, Maan nodded and having his lunch when he saw Geet was looking upset. "What happened Geet?"

"Maan.. I love Dev and I can't give you his place. I'm sorry."

Maan sighed and took her hand in him saying, "Geet I know you love Dev and I will never ask you to love me. Even see, I even don't love you, so it will better if we not talk about it. Dosti tak abhi iss rishte ko rehne dete hai na?" Geet smiled with a nod.

"Thank you for understanding." she said.
