As I said the decisions she's made of leaving and getting a divorce are correct but she didn't exactly make them on her own. She got pushed and prodded into taking them. Revati deliberately cast aspersions on her character knowing Shristi would be insulted enough to leave. What I find contradictory though is that when those two men in Shekar's office were casting similar aspersions on her character in exactly the same way as Dulari and Revati had done she didn't even care. Nor did she say anything to those women who gossiped about her when she was out with Shekar. In fact she took a Vishu who was defending her to task. Why didn't she adopt the same uncaring attitude with Revati? As to getting a divorce, it seems her intentions had never been to get one. She was content to carry on being regarded as a married woman and wear the accoutrements of her marriage even though she had left her 'husband'. In fact it seems she personally doesn't or didn't believe in divorce, one more contradiction. Only because Shekar manipulated her for his own nefarious ends did she take the step of divorce. I would be more impressed if she had taken this step off her own bat. Right now Ragini has plans to manipulate her into coming back into the Vidhvaan Singh household and I can almost foresee this happening. That's why for me she brings images of a puppet to mind. Because she is the educated one and the brainy one I had hopes of her being strong and taking decisions without being manipulated into taking them but alas she doesn't. From getting married to Vishu itself, leaving him and getting a divorce It's always been because of someone manipulating her.
