8/17 Highlights: Avni and Neela take a stand against Shweta!

Tonight's episode was power packed and emotional. It was heartbreaking watching Avni so helpless and begging for HER Neil to recover. Avni did everything she could to save the love of her life even when Amol purposely removed the lead so Neil could bleed more, that dupatta became a life saver for him.

Neela and Avni's scene was so emotional, Avni was taking Shweta's insults to heart about being unlucky and a curse but Neela slapped her out of it and gave her the encouragement needed to fight back for a man who has always stood by her. It was now time to stand by her love.

I'm so proud of Avni who stood her ground against Shweta as she tried to throw Avni out of the hospital. Avni made it known she is legally Neil's wife and she was not going anywhere! This is the Avni I wanted to see during a time like this, she has every right to be there.

Along with Avni I have been waiting for Neela to talk back, I was really disappointed that the day of the reveal she didn't speak up but today she struck back! I loved her throwing it in Shweta's face that like her she too longed to be loved by her in laws and Avni should not be blamed for the actions of others.

Precap was Dayawanti plotting to kill Neil at the hospital but we know she won't succeed. Looking forward to the upcoming episodes especially with the maha episode on Sunday and Bebe apologizing to Avni. I am grateful Naamkarann is different from other shows, Avni getting the justice she deserves after being wronged and standing her ground when it came to her rights as Neil's wife. Love it!!

Avni n Neela stole the show...Heartbreaking emotional when Avni after Shweta insults thinks she is bad omen...Neela's slap brought our gutsy Avni back...Avni taking stand as Neil wife was brilliant!!! Way to go Avni!!!

I felt so bad for Avni as she started blaming herself for everything from Neela's marriage breaking to what happened with her parents and Neil, the way she was pushing Neela away fearing Neela would be next. Avni was just an emotional wreck. I loved Neela bringing her back and just giving her the love and encouragement she needs. Neela always knows just what to say, really one of the best written characters I have ever watched. Neela and Avni were a force to be reckoned with at the hospital.

Can see Daya going after Neil in the hospital n then Amol trying to get Neil when he goes home for recovery break! Waiting for Avni to bash up Amol real bad this kid n Rhea are just idiots letting themselves get played by Daya

Once Neil is back on his feet Avni Neil Ali n DD should create hell for Daya Amol n Rhea!

Aditi really made you feel her character's emotions, the helplessness and fear. It was one of her best performances, she deserves all the praise.

I hope Amol is not going back with Avni when she returns home with Neil, he has no reason being there. The plan was always for him to stay with Neela but yes I can see him and Dayawanti finding other ways to kill Avni and Neil, maybe that is when Guru Maa strikes since the Raghu Pandit case is still ongoing. It could be the CVs way of tying in both tracks together and bringing down all the negative characters at once.

I look forward to the day Amol gets exposed, I was so disgusted with him today you would think he would have some guilt seeing his sister so helpless but he got pleasure out of it. I hope Ali starts getting suspicious of him like Neela did today, someone has to observe him closely.

This time aditi again prove that decision was which was taken by bhat sir is Ryt by casting her for Avni's character..
Neela ma is gem person and epitome of love and selflessness..
She is true mother of avni in every sense,
I just love today's epi

Honestly, the best thing about today's episode was actually when neela taunted shweta back by bringing up the fact about shweta not getting the love from her in-laws that she has desired just like neela herself, which shocked shweta speechless. What made that subtle insult so much more better than shweta's in-your-face, venom-spewing insults is that neela's taunt was sugar-coated in genuine empathy, and ultimately comparing shweta to herself in a way, in terms of their poor relationships with their respective in-laws. Brilliant 👏

They really got the casting right, I'm happy Aditi is having her chance to shine in a leading role. About Neela couldn't agree more and I'm glad Avni has given her that right, she could have easily grown up calling Neela Neela maa but instead she calls her mom. For Avni this is her mother, this is the woman who raised her and been her support. I really love their relationship, their scenes were so touching today

The way I saw it today Amol was just getting pleasure out of seeing his sister helpless and getting insulted.

I am loving the writing for her character even that day when she was being insulted for being an illegitimate child she stood her ground. Avni stands up for her beliefs.

Neela handled Shweta with class! Neela did not have to reduce herself to Shweta's level to give it back to her, it was beautifully handled by the CVs!
