Guruji.asked Satrupa to give away Anami

So he dint specifically say to give away her daughter. He asked her to hide her child preferably the male heir. Satrupa did not pay heed to his words and chose to keep her son close to her bosom while giving away Anami.

Yes, guruji did ask her to give away one of her child, the first born, first born was not Anami but Vatsalya. Satrupa got greedy to hold on to her position and strengthen it through a male heir so instead gave up her daughter. That is what had happened, at least what I understood.

Yes this is how I see it too...so I would not blame Anami for hating her mother... she chose her son over her daughter *facepalm*

Even I don't want to blame Satrupa but I felt she loved Vatsalya more than Anami maybe because he was a boy.

Satrupa keeping Vatsalya had more to do with her craving for power and perhaps security than loving her son more than her daughter. She even told Damo to be careful as this was her daughter and told Guruji she never questioned him or tried to find her daughter in case that harmed her. She has no real relationship with her husband so being mother of the unquestioned male heir gives her security. The daughter would not have been accepted by Dadaji as an acceptable heir so I think it was that fact above others that made her keep Vatsalya over Anami. Now as Guruji said she has to fight for her daughter's right to inherit.
