So the episode began with some goons causing Durga trouble. Accha khaasa villagers were coming to help her out but our heroine stopped them, so Prince could conveniently come to her assistance and be able to claim they were now "even stevens" (what is he 12? 😆) and he can continue to wreak havoc for her with full haq in whatever way he pleases and still sleep at night with a clear conscience.

College mein itni jaldi elections ho bhi gaye? I thought this track would last a bit. Samrat vs Prince - we've barely seen one speak about any topical issues while the other thinks getting a random student thrown out of college is a valid reason to get elected into a position of authority. Kuch bhi. Then again even our politicians get voted in with full haq for kuch bhi reasons like this and elections are covered as a clash of personalities rather than a debate on issues so maybe this is #truthInTelevision after all 😛

Amrita's grandmother tries to tell her that her little son has full haq to know the truth - her lies can't continue any longer as they're merely a temporary salve that can turn into a wound in the future. However Amrita, though plagued with pangs of guilt, chooses her haq as a mother to see her son happy and continues to let the kid believe that the unwell man who has just entered their family is the father he has been longing for.

Speaking of fathers and longing, Yashpal, on discovering the trouble Prince is causing his daughter, takes it upon himself to confront the prat because 5 years is enough injustice to have taken lying down. Now, he feels, is the time to put a stop to all the liars and their nonsense. It'd be a bit absurd for a parent to confront their child's peers in this manner to be honest, but for five long years Yashpal has lived with the yearning for Durga to complete her dream run (when even Durga had dismissed the idea) so he feels a haq on that dream and he can't see her future melting away again.

What makes Prince think he has the haq to moral police Durga and sabotage her ability to create a meaningful life for herself lord only knows. According to him, no one in the world has the right to a second chance in life, even after they have made all the necessary legal reparations. And most specially they don't have a right to appear in the same public space as him because he apparently owns the air around him and only those he thinks are worthy can breath it. 🥱

I am liking the show with its focus on Durga's struggle. I was glad that her father decided to go and confront SP but I would have like to see her same action. This made her character weak in my point of view.
SP's reaction to the revelation was worth it but if he had so much brains, why didn't he use it before?😆😆

@Karaali, I do see where you're coming from. Durga confronting all her haters with the proof of her innocence would have felt good.

On the other hand, I have seen like a million serials where the heroine has to "prove" herself tearfully (all those lame agnipareeksha tracks) so I enjoyed how here she, y'know, just didn't give much of a damn. That's another way of demonstrating how little all their, specifically SP's, hate meant to her. I kinda liked that as soon as he did not trust her pre-leap she said that friendship means trust and him not supporting her proves that he didn't know her and wasn't much of a friend after all. And she maintained that attitude post-leap too.

Durga's moment of triumph should come on the racetrack - she shouldn't have to waste time disproving false accusations, engaging in petty college politics, and suljhaaoing saazishes.

So, for that reason I liked that Durga's dad destroyed the bakwaas like a boss and SP was left dumbfounded 😆
