Sarabhai's Roshesh to become father

Rajesh Kumar popular as Roshesh of Sarabhai and now Subodh in Baa Bahu Aur Baby is going to become a father. He also celebrated his birthday on the 20th of this month so he had more than one reason to be happy.

Currently in Goa, the actor confirms, "My wife is pregnant and she is fine. This is one of the most memorable gifts for me. Right now I am in Goa which is also a gift on my wife's behalf as it was she who planned this with my friends. It was very sweet of her to allow me to be with my friends in a situation when she needs me. I am just chilling out here and taking care of her via the phone."

When he is in Mumbai, Rajesh tries to be with his wife after finishing his shooting. "I try to fulfill her cravings for food. Once she demanded hot chocolate brownie at 12.30 in the night."

About his birthday celebrations, Rajesh reveals, "I had a family get together kind of thing. It was not a lavish party at all. I believe in inviting only those people only who are happy that I am born. I like to keep it simple and be with my family and college friends who are here with me in Mumbai. We chat and have fun, the only thing we do not do is discuss TV."

Rajesh is also doing one show based on Bengali novel in which he is playing a serious character. And he has a very interesting explanation as to why he signed the show. "Some villages in the north still do not get satellite channels and this show is for DD1 so I thought this is a great opportunity for me to reach the interiors of the country."

However he is not finding things very easy. "We have to speak pure Hindi in this show and it is becoming very difficult for me to memorize all the dialogues. It brings back memories of my school days. I even told them that I would have got a first class if I would have appeared for a written test. Further, they also prefer to finish shots in one take."

Rajesh has been seen in Kkusum and Ek Mahal Sapno Ka but it was playing Roshesh in Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai that catapulted him to fame.
