Disclaimer: i'm ignoring past few episodes, which had no logic at all, all that tadi and so on made no sense, i'll make as if they jumped straight from that bhang episodes to this episode😊

Truth isnt always as simple as we think, there's a reason why we always relate truth to a coin, which has two sides

not gonna take anyone's side today, both Annika and SSO are completely right at least in their own views

what worked for me is after one month and a half, they actually talked

it's not about whether they love each other anymore, it's about their own personality, Annika is a girl who married SSO for one day just to save her brother, and today again she sacrificed herself because she thought SSO wouldnt be able to accept the illegitimacy truth

it's not just a matter of whether she had the right to take this decision or not, she did what she felt she had to do that time, this was Annika, she can destroy herself to protect her loved ones! Right now we are all complaining how SSO broke because of this, but then also Sahil broke completely when he saw how his sister was forced to marry SSO because of him... and 3 months later when she saw how SSO was destroyed, she regretted it, but that doesnt mean she has the courage to tell him the truth even now... This is our Annika

while SSO has always put his family before everything, his family is everything for him, when he married Annika, Annika gently molded into the 'ideal' wife he always wanted, thought where their familiies are concerned, both can actually die for

he also has the characteristics that he has to know everything that is happening, remember the NKAK

also first time he actually fell in love, opened himself to a girl, he changed a lot for Annika

and now that girl destroyed what was heaven for him, she destroyed the 'ideal' reflection he had of her, she hurt his family, and most important of all she broke his heart. He understands that she has a reason, but he's right that unless he knows the truth, he cant do anything... i also feel that he needs to know the truth because otherwise the fear she'll again leave him will always be present.

she didnt trust him to make everything ok is a big thing for him, because he's the great wall of Shivaay, he always makes things right for everyone.

SSO knows that Annika doesnt want to get married to TB, and if he had any doubts today's episode cleared it completely, and even Annika accepted it. So now he has only one way to get to the truth, by 'forcing' this marriage on her and breaking her to tell the truth.

so basically after today's episode, we can finally relate to both Annika and SSO, they are as flawed as the other right now, one wants to protect the other at all cost and the other wants to know the truth so that he can get her back in his life with all haq

No matter what SSO says, we all know SSO will never be able to clear this raita of illegitimacy, SSO clearly has no idea what type of truth Annika is even hiding😭

well this is my POV, and i'm happy and more calm post today's episode with Shivika, my babies at least talked and now the only thing between them is the 'truth' not TB or Naagini or anything else😊

the only thing missing to make it perfect is:

Annika telling SSO that she's not gonna marry Vikram, not even to prove any point, but she still doesnt have the courage to tell him the truth

and SSO going after his family too, because Annika isnt the only one who knows the truth, OmRu, Pinky etc know why Annika flipped 3 months back

u penned it beautifully dear ...I so agree to u .for me today both were right in their own way.its not about love its about what they r...same like jungle track ..anika is like that only she always thinks for others first even if she has to pay a big price of giving away her own self.n for sso he needs to know everything in detail ...that is the way he is wired ...so both r fighting their own demons..

though I made a detailed post regarding this on dt ...I just made a small one here...

Loved the scene, and your interpretation of it! For me, there's just some great relief that both their POVs were finally elaborated by the writer today.. showing us exactly how real and flawed both characters are.

Shivaay with his delusions of how perfect they were, and not backing down from his stand on family being more important. The man is unapologetic about it, it is who he is, and who knows it better than Annika! It's precisely the reason she chose that to target when it came time to leave. And Oh! The irony in him having got Gauri her haq as a bahu and never having managed that for Annika! Daadi, Om and Rudra are the only ones who ever gave her her rightful place. She remained the wedding planner/ event manager for everyone else in that house, and he's always failed to see that.

Annika with her delusions of having done this for his happiness. He wasn't happy, she has seen it now. He has said in so many words that his happiness lies with her, albeit in a drugged haze. I get where she's coming from though, and still think it isn't her place to tell him a truth his parents have kept from him all his life. It's a catch 22 situation, this.

Shivika are a mess, but we finally get the mess, in spite of all the see- sawing of reasons within the same episode (She's moved on/ Looks like you want to back off, just tell me the truth/ etc). I'm grateful for the relative clarity, however convoluted it may be. 😃

Today's episode basically highlighted that they are fighting with demons of their inside.

For annika, she is a girl who always puts her loved ones before her. She can go to any extent to protect her loved ones. She married to Shivaay just for one day for Sahil. Now she is protecting Shivaay. She very well knows what Shivaay's family is for him, how much pride he takes in being SSO, how much. He can throw annika out for the family even though he would die without her. He can go to any extent to protect his family. He is the pillar of this family. Once truth comes out, this pillar will break and so this family. His whole attitude towards his family,towards himself (the way he takes pride everytime he say Shivaay singh oberio kuch bhi kar skta h) all will change. Shivaay placed conditions in front of her that tell the truth and we will be together as simple. But her it is like either save him or their relation. She telling the truth would mean she will get shivaay for herself but his family will break and annika can never do or think of that. It will be so selfish on her part to do that.

Whereas Shivaay is a man who always wants to know everything. Wants to have all the information specially when it comes to annika he wants to know everything. He is also right in wanting to know the truth because it had hurt his family, it had broke the only relationship he made from heart.

As you said both of their ways are wrong, annika needs to say that I won't marry any stranger to prove you a point and Shivaay needs to try other ways rather than breaking annika emotionally to tell the truth

I understood both of them today. Shivaay is correct from his side. He has a right to know the truth which broke their relationship! If he doesn't know what's the guarantee that this truth won't be used to separate them again? Like he said there were 2 people in their relationship and she should not have taken that decision for him!

I also understand Annika's POV today. She doesn't want to say the truth so as to not hurt him and she wants to make a fresh start! But isn't she also putting conditions for the relationship in her own way by saying she wants him to move on with her without knowing the truth?

Shivaay should not have brought in TB in the middle today and Annika should have said 'you can think whatever you want but I am leaving' instead of telling him to go ahead with the shaadi preparations!

And regarding the family part, I agree with what Bharti and Maria said in EDT today! Shivaay thinks of Annika as a part of himself or Mrs.SSO to his Mr.SSO and he never put himself above his family and he expected Annika to put their family above everything as well...

I also think that he poaced Annika on a pedestal and when she fell from there he was hurt and now wants to know what was so important that gambled their relationship for it

Most of all, I am happy with today's episode because they actually talked without fighting! I was able to relate with both of them and saw my old ShivIka who talked rather than fight make a come back

Hi bear with me when I pen my thoughts here ... I might make sense or not but here it is : marriage like all relationships is very complicated more so because you forge this bond when you are already set with your ideals ,notions, ideas etc . You expect your partner to mould himself/ herself to meet your needs n expectations but in this process you tend to forget that your partner comes to you with an equally formed ideas notions etc . Here is where you stop n retrospect... are you changing by n adapting too as you expect the other person to ???

SSO wanted an ideal woman n slowly but steadily Anika turned herself into one but did SSO do the same ... as per me he never did ... it's all about him , his family , his ideals etc etc .

That said Anika is insecure n she has no idea where she stands with SSO because he was never explicit or vocal about his feelings ... but one thing she had was he trusted her , he trusted her enough to not harm him or his family in any way ... and he took that away from her by throwing her out ...did not even hesitate take a step back to think why what's n how's ...not even may be could be..

Inspite of all this she came back to set him right but egos etc clashed ... my thing is after SSO said " only you can deal with me n only I can deal with you " ...the track after the seperation could have been dealt with a bit differently ... but the writer botched it up so bad ... no maturity , no angst , no finesse the beautiful bond reduced to nothing and the two mature adults reduced to bikering teenagers who do not have a clue about how to deal with what they have n are reduced to playing games like who will break first ...

They are broken , the relationship is broken everything else shot to pieces what else should broken to rebuild again ...they are taking it too far to bring it back. They should have shown a work in progress rather than this hell anything other than this .

Almost 3 weeks of randomness with 2 more weeks to go and some one needs to almost die to knock some sense into this nonsense... 'sigh' will we ever get our Shivika back ?? Even if we do will it be the same ?? Not only them we are all damaged goods now thanks to Gulneet 😭

Somebody tell these knuckleheads ( Gulneet)that they need to get their heads straight and give IB a chance to comeback after what they did to everyone in it n everyone watching it.

I think today it was a better episode but it was more upsetting to see the state of both Shivay and Anika. They are so close yet so far. Sometimes I feel they are just not meant for each other. Shivay and Anika need to fix their priorities if they value their relationship else Anika is better off alone and Shivay better get a perfect girl for his family !!!!

Shivay is too blind to see flaws in his own family and till he doesnt accept it, I dont get where Anika fits in. 😕 Honestly, I dont expect from a man like Shivay forgiving Anika even after the truth is out. We will probably get some contrived drama to close the chapter but it will be out of character. However, I do see Annika continuing to be his wife but an unaccepted bahu !!! Phew ...Ironic much, Mr. Fixer is on mission to make it perfect for Gauri !!! like seriously Shivay!!!!I would never get why he remains so oblivious to Anika position in the family whilst others are welcomed with open arms!!!!

Shivay expected blind trust from Anika but she staged a drama to break their relationship ...look at the way Rudy, Sahil and now Gauri comes with their problems for him to solve ...but Anika chose the other way and shut him down from her life. She took a decision for both of them ...this is what hurts him the most💔. He deserves an explanation irrespective of they unite or not. Period. But I dont get why he is chasing Anika alone ...bhai tumhare phamily hai na ...unki jaan khao 😆 specially tumhaei bhagwaan tumhare apni mom 😛.

I take Anika and Rudra bonding over Shivika!!! Aniru are just so so innocent and drawn to each other when in trouble. They are so vulnerable when it comes to Shivay.

Hi Ashti.. nice post but I may have a slight different POV here 😆

Keeping aside the weird flipping in the last few episodes, today's episode actually made some sense in the fact that they clearly depicted both Shivaay and Anika's POV without throwing the stupid FNP games or moved on games.. However, they still aren't addressing Anika's stupidity..

My problem with this situation is the way the writers are going about this track..

I get Anika's fears.. she still doesn't understand how much Shivaay has changed..and she herself takes Shivaay at face value..she still believes that he can't handle himself and she's naive enough to think that one can just move on from the truth.. yes he loves his family the most.. for him his family is above all.. and he has been the wall protecting the family.. but he has had no reason to believe that his family is that wrong.. we say he ignores Pinky's insults towards Anika but he doesn't ignore it just like that.. he does stop her when it gets too much..he thinks it is just the way his mother is.. she is rude and everybody in the family has learnt to deal with it.. The rest of his family.. OmRu, Dadi, Jhanvi, Shakti and even Tej all have always accepted her as the bahu.. so he doesn't see the actual issue there.. it doesn't matter to him that much becoz for him his mother has always been rude and she may always be like this since Anika isn't her choice.. unless he sees the insecurity Pinky has towards Anika, he won't understand that.. in fact nobody in the family realized that until they came to know about the illegitimacy truth and Pinky's demand for Anika to leave! Anika's over sacrificial nature is her biggest flaw..she lets people walk over her!

And as you said.. Shivaay is right in his place.. he was heartbroken and impulsive in divorcing her, yes..but she pushed him too hard.. and until recently he didn't realize there may have been a reason as he was too hurt.. yes that was his fault.. but ever since he got to know that he has been regretful about being so impulsive.. and has time and again implied and told Anika specifically how much she means to him and how they would have had such a happy family.. all he wants is to know the truth.. and expecting him to just forget about what happened and move on doesn't make any sense..

I get Anika's fears of now wanting him to lose himself or lose his trust in his family etc..this isn't about her insecurities but more about her being "sacrificial" while nobody expects her to be or wants her to be that.. she still doesn't respect their relationship..the writer hasn't shown her being regretful of her deeds, of not trusting their relationship.. he has been trying to get her to talk so that they can resolve the issue but she keeps deflecting it.. Fine if she can't tell him the reason she could at least hint at the reason behind her leaving.. she could tell him that it will ruin his relationships and she can't see this family break..then he would probably try to find other ways to find out the truth (which I think he already is doing)..

My point is just to drag this track they are ruining Anika to make her dumb.. How is he supposed to blindly trust that what she did was right? How can she decide that is his happiness? He is a 33 yr old adult and she expects him to behave as a child and listen to his mother when she says I'm doing this for your sake.. this is a man who needs facts to understand any situation.. and she expects him to forget and move on with her.. no relationship can work this way..

On top of that Gulneet have forced this 3rd wheel angle for no reason.. to resolve these issues they do not need a fake wedding drama..but by bringing this they are ruining Anika for me.. the simplest answer to this conflict is Anika can just say fine if you can't move on without the truth I leave.. and Shivaay should say leave me alone if you can't share the truth with me! There is no need to force a wedding down our throats that too with another guy.. having Shivika doing these rituals secretly / accidentally without still resolving their issues just makes it too contrived! Unless there is a proper conversation between Shivika there is no point to all this!

I'm still hoping today's episode is the first step towards that proper conversation! 😆
