Now it's just descended into battle of egos between them.
Both are so tensed and smoking from the ears like pressure cookers, but each waits for the other to just say the word for them to forfeit the match.
Annika has chosen probably the worst time to put her foot down and insist for Shivaay to show that he loves her and wants her in his life. Because the only reason he needs to know the secret, is if he wanted to understand why she did what she did that day.
She would be ruining him and won't be any different from Pinky.
Pinky used this secret to get rid of Annika, threatening to ruin him. She decided than if she didn't have Shivaay to herself, she'd rather have him ruined.
Annika does want Shivaay for herself, as her husband. But she is not prepared to ruin him just to get him back. She told him the secret, and he didn't take it well at all. She cannot bear to ruin him again. It's either she leaves , or she waits for him. Her hands are tied.
They have gone from unspoken understanding of love, to adamant insistence for the other to be the first to say the words.
"WHy are you forcing this marriage upon me?"
"I am not doing anything. It's YOU who wanted to marry this guy. I'm just arranging it"
"SO, it doesn't matter to you if I marry him?"
" If you have it in you to hold another man's hand, I'd like to see it."
(She 's asking him to admit he cares, without knowing the secret first. He wants to tell her he cares, only after she tells him the secret. *bangs head on nearby wall*)
"SO , this is what you want? For me to marry Vikram? Fine then, I will."
(See, poor SSO's disappointed face. He really thought he had her cornered there at this point. He's never seen this side of Annika. Just as stubborn, just as angry, just as strong willed. )
"Are you sure? If you have second thoughts, say it , and I'll make it all go away. If you tell me what happened 3 months ago, I'll take care of it all. Just tell me."
"SO you'll only do something if I tell you why I did all that 3 months ago? You can't put conditions on relationships Shivaay..."
THIS. THIS!! I so wanted SHivaay to reach the point of unconditional love. This little line slipped in between lots of words had so much meaning. He hasn't reached that unconditional love level yet. He's emotionally blackmailing her for the truth. Downright bullying.
It's like the forced wedding happening all over again. But now he's witholding love from her, her kamzori this time is HIMSELF.
"You can't have too much stubborness in a relationship Annika. In this Zidd, you are entering into another marriage."
(Sigh, Shivaay. She is acting. Rudy told you, you're not listening. Vikram is not going to be her husband ever. Even if he turns evil or is blackmailed by Ragini or whatever, Annika will vanish before she lets anyone else lay a finger on her with Haq. Not like him. Never. )
HALT !! SHivaay is not asking himself. Why is she insisting on not telling him this secret? It's obviously HUGE and catastrophic, hence her willpower is full strength up like a shield. ASK YOURSELF. Make OmRu tell you !!

Going and whacking Rudra for his idea is grossly unfair. His advise was sound, Go with the flow, dont react. But SHivaay did NOT do that, he is reacting badly and pushing ANnika further and further down the hole she has hastily dug for herself. He's practically chasing her down there.
And Om said nothing to say, in asking Gauri to stay. Just smiled gratefully and said "You're back."

I didn't know I would be saying this , but Rudy is the only calm and collected one these days. See how calmly he put Bhavya's tension to rest and understood her need to do her factfinding herself, and didn't force himself in it. Just offered his companionship. Rudy's growing up yaar..!

Annika finds Shivaay in a dishevelled state , hair all mussed up. He frankly looked outright miserable there, losing control over as he feels her slipping away further from him. She reached out to fix his hair and he actually bent to let her. But she pulled back, saying she has no right to anymore.
(I'm as tired as Annika really. She's done enough. It's not asking too much for him to take the few steps back to her. Now that he knows there's a huge reason she did what she did, a sacrifice she had to make, one that OmRu understood and are standing by her. She's not the badguy here Shivaay... )
Oh HE HATES that. When she takes his Haq away from her. He's had his way with her ever since they met and now she's not even letting him touch her hand. She's done being taken advantage of. If he wants me in his life, he better ask properly this time, and give me proper promises a husband should. No blackmailing over secrets.
She's guarding his secret, she won't crack. Not for selfish reasons.

Bhavya gives her some perspective. " Shivaay bhaiyya is not understanding what going on, not able to stomach the idea of you with someone else. He's very upset, sad and jealous, and he's reacting badly. He won't let it go on for long, he'll stop it soon for sure..."
And elsewhere the man himself is vowing to push her to the extreme point, where she will spill the truth out and admit she doesn't want this marriage.
He isn't talking about getting back together , is he? 😭 is it assumed?

Rudra asks Gauri to come back and help them sort out the mess, playing cupid in the meantime. I love it how she returns in her original Dabangg style and is giving Om no time of the day. This guy needs to make a better effort.
Rudra really grew up before our eyes while he reacted to Bhavya today. He wants to help Bhavya honestly, but she is a lone ranger type who works alone. Finding that he can't make her do anything, he just offers silent companionship.
That poolside coffee scene was so touching. Leenesh does subtle nuances very well too, he'll go far with his talent. I tell you, Rudra's character is getting the best parts of late. Funny, emotional, sweet, loving and downright adorable. He is the Jaan of the house really. Sparks are flying between the two, very nicely...
(Am not surprised if they bring Saumya back just to spoil this spark forming here...)
edit: spoil does not mean I don't like Saumya. I do. I mean the emerging chemistry needs a raita right? So..

Ragini goes to give Annika engagement clothes and jewelry. Like who is she to go do this??!😡.. I'm pretty sure Shivaay didn't send her, she's started some kaand now. Suddenly she feels she can come in between and speak for Shivaay. Definitely she is up to something no good.
Pinky also walks in to flap her tail feathers. After Dadi tried to talk sense into Pinky (who was *gasp* in the kitchen *gasp* COOKING?!?😲 ) and failed, Om marched straight for Shivaay to tell him the truth and stop the engagement nonsense.
Pinky tried to rub chilli powder into Annika's wound. Not only did she insult Annika about wearing Tia's borrowed clothes, now she'll wear unimpressive clothes to her own next wedding. She dares to even talk about Annika's love for Shivaay. I may have let out too many curses and middle fingers at this scene.. Sorry God. *prays for forgiveness*
The way Annika spoke to Pinky, gave me chills. How wills he talk like this to Pinky and come into the house as Bahu? She was given very strong words , and issued strong angry ultimatums as well, and to top it she told the woman to get out.
No matter how far apart we are, I will love him, always, only him.
I'm afraid Pinky will attempt to kill Annika, to be rid of her completely...
Dunno about you guys, but as bleak as Annika and Shivaay look right now, the situation around them looks bright and promising. Gauri is on mission with Rudy, plus Dadi is also out to stop this engagement. Family won't stand by and watch quietly this time...
