'Doctor doctor we have an emergency'

Sleep still eluding from his now closed eyes, this is something he have choosen because the relief that shone in the eyes of his patients is something that bought peace to him just like peace that comes with gardening, reading or lisening to music. But his peace came along healing.
The green light turned to red on his arrival leading to 2 long hour of contend with life and death. But she was a fighter.
Closing the ICU door he scanned for any of her relatives.
'Dr Arnav that lady over there is the one who brought the girl. She says she is her room mate.'
His eyes wandered to the petit figure sitting on one of the chairs, her hand massaging out her ache. He cleared his throut to gain attention.
' I am Dr Arnav.The case is very brutal and I guess it is self inflicted. Am sorry but we couldn't save the baby. And Miss..?'
'Khushi'
'Miss Khushi may I know the reason for her condition? Her previous medical report is necessary , please provide it as soon as possible. You will also have to cooperate with the police, nothing much a little interrogation and questioning will be involved just make sure you give the right info as per their requirement. According to our medical policy we have to inform them if such serious case arise.'
'But doctor can we avoid the later part please? She was in a mental turmoil after she found out her husband being a two timer. She have attempted suicide many times. But it was last week she got to know about her pregnancy. She was not in a mental state to accept it as she was stuggling for her own survival. She being an orphan there was no one to lend a hand. She was unusually quite since past some days..but I never thought. Please doctor don't drag police into this.'
Just addressing with a nod he left asking the nurse to fill up the medical profile of the patient. The story that he heard have triggered many memories in him.
