Not true. In old times, actresses like Sharmila Tagor, Dimple did so many movies after marriage. They were all considered great and received well also I think.. Even Aishwarya is received well even at this age. She was so hot in the movie ADHM.

why blame the male audience??

with all the airbrushing, photoshop female actors looking flawless, natural beauties, putting down actresses for doing surgery for looking less than perfect are the standards these days.. the expectations are going to rise from here.. the actors will continue to get older and actresses will continue to get younger and younger for flawless, beautiful, gorgeous slay queen expectations 😆 its not just men who thinks like this.. us women also pass comments.. if we realistically expect older actresses in movies maybe we should not pass comments on how old actresses look. aging is natural..

Itz not abt exceptions, itz what happens normally, not just in bollywood but in other professions too, coz ppl think now she has more responsibilities n wudn't b fit for d 'job' n even if dy employ, salaries r less compared to men.
