I don't know what exactly because there were such elements in the entire episode that touched my heart. So the episode went down to be one of my favorites.
Starting from the Rikara Scene,
Gauri finds Om's old sketches. So symbolic to her finding the Old Om. This is the Om. She was awe struck at the beautiful sketches. Her very own husband whom she loves to call "Nandi Bell" due to his anger, is the person who made those extremely beautiful and heart touching sketches!!! Until now she knew the Omkara who had turned stone, and hence she sat their surprised. Was she surprised because she had guessed that Omkara Ji was way better and beautiful person than he showed himself to be ? Or was she dumbstruck that this was the same man who spat in anger the words that stabbed her heart?
And the lost philosophical artist comes along. I have been lately calling him that. "Lost" he was always, but now too lost. Lost away somewhere from his art, Lost somewhere away from his heart, Lost somewhere away from his real self.
He has always been "philosophical". It was like he used to wear these glasses of philosophy, that made him see the world in the way he did. But then in came the clouds, the mist and dust. Each symbolising the adversities, the anger and frustration. And the Philosopher "lost" himself, lost his philosophy. But clouds don't reamin forever they don't! And now as his view clears he has started being philosophical again!
Something I absolutely love and could relate to.
Omkara said,"Aap ko mere loss ka idea bhi nahi hai!"
So much meaning in that one sentence that told the story of himself.
An artist who lost his art.
A philosopher who lost his Philosophy.
An optimistic who lost his optimism.
A son who lost his parents.
A man who lost his reasons to live.
A man who lost himself to the situations.
These are the things that define the picture and he lost all that.
Coming to the last point above, that's why they say no matter what your situation is, Be Yourself. Because agar him apne aapko situations mein kho dete hain naa...toh uss loss ka andaaza bhi nahi lagaya jaa sakta..!
Too much to learn from him and his mistakes. On the other end, Gauri takes pride in being herself no matter what the world may say. That's the way one should be, of Course one should change oneself for better, but...not Change thyself...!
Coming back to the scene. So beautifully shot. He sits down by the bed and takes his own creativity in hand. His creation that he has locked memories and feelings into.
Kuch khwaab ladkpan Ke hain
Armaan Hai Kuch aur Yaadein Bhi
Tasweeron mein Aksar Lipti,
Bachpan ki yaadein Bhi.
This shaayri went straight to the heart and sprang up immediately on my face in the most beautiful curve ever. His Shaayris are always like that. They might move you to teats or curl up your lips to smile in the most enchanting way. Kuddos to dialogue writer.
A few dreams of the early youth,
Some are wishes while some are memories,
And many a times the pictures hold enwrapped memories of childhood.
He quotes Jaanvi
Gussa aag banke nahi
hunar banke nikalna chaiye
This is one of the best advice his mother could give him. Let your anger come out as a talent as an art. Like the Tandav of Shiva. When Lord Shiv Is Very angry (when his third eye opens) he performs the Tandava.
That's it.
Anger is one strong emotion.
If thrown out like fire, it destroys.
If thrown out like art, like talent it creates wonders.
This is something I can personally vouch for.
He says he has always seen his mother go through a lot of pain he has seen her cry and has felt her pain. And that's when he started removing his anger as art. Alas he feels his talent has left him. I differ in opinion. Your talent can never leave, it can only be undermined. You just have to look inside and dig it out.
But our Chiraiya is the most thoughtful and ever supporter. I might not understand your words but I understand the emotions. Back in time outside the Dargah they were told by a Fakir,
"Zindagi ke safar ke Humsafar hoon tum . Ayega zid pe toh Qayamat hogi.
Yeh ishq abhi masoom "
This is it! She sat by him like the perfect companion. And now is also a co-traveller on the route of Life. She will help him and walk by him back to being the artist he once was.
This Lady gives me serious inspiration. How can one love so much? But Om deserves every bit of it. Can't wait for the day we see the Real Ishqbaaaz in Omkara. He will paint the world with her colours when in love.
Humsafar..! The perfect word.
And one more ,
Panchi Chaaye Chota Ho,
Udaan badi honi chaaiye.
This what our Chiraiya follows, it's time the chirota lives on his own words... đ
Gauri is like that bird who's wings dont give flight just to herself. She is all set to carry the wounded bird on her wings until the bird realises that it can still fly.
Okay this post got long,đ
