The real confession, from bottom of the heart!!

Hi guys..how are you all...came back to an awesome episode today...I had left for vacation after Mukhi's simple nod of a confession after Aru haggled him in the water tank. There also, he did not speak up until she was about to leave the tank.

And what do I see today...today again the fear that she might go away from him, that he will lose her, worse lose respect in her eyes made him confess...how beautiful and from the heart it was...the emotions that brought tears to his eyes...his plea that no matter what he loves her, would do anything for her including fall on his knees, telling her that he loves her...and not to leave him ever...and if he makes mistakes he would do penance for them but he cannot live without her...words pulled from the bottom of his soul...words that Aru needed to hear very badly...words that we all wanted to hear and were disappointed that we did not hear them during first confession..

all so so beautiful...

His simple.." Tu jaanti hai na..ki mei tujhse prem karta hun"...oh my god...was waiting to hear this from Mukhi's mouth for so so long.!!!!

Till now, it was Aru who ran after him, Aru who decided to stay with him inspite of odds, Aru who tried to not go to Ahemdabad, Aru who did not accept to stay back there even for her job, Aru who made sure that they remain as a couple. It was Aru's openness with her feelings that gave strength to Mukhi's acceptance. It was Aru who refused to stay away from him, throughout and throughout. To the point that she seemed chipku and he seemed to brush her off ( for her own good ofcourse) in many episodes upto confession. Mukhi never till date communicated his feelings, the way he did today. That he cannot live without her, that the very thought of staying away from her feels like his life ebbing away. He did not even confess that when she pestered him for an answer to her question " Kya aap mere bina rehsakenge" when he cajoles her to stay back in AHMD for her job. She stopped him on the road and questions him again..knows the real answer in silence...knows he cannot stay without her. And comes back with him. But yet, he did not say those words, and her heart did not know the happiness of hearing those words.

And today, just for once, when she played prank and threatened to go away...when she made him believe he might have made a mistake such that she lost respect for him, that she will go away for ever...and kaaabooommm...the man started talking..and talking..and said some of the best things a husband can say to his wife. From his heart..straight..no preparation..no hesitation...no shyness, no confusion, nothing to come between them.

I may have made a mistake, but I love you, don't go away. Oh my God Mukhiji, your wife has thrown a first tantrum...now she knows exactly how to make you talk!!! Loved the whole conversation. Including Aru;s surprise...she had no idea of the extent he was hurting..because she was in a pranking mode...and his confessions surprised her so much. He is man of action..not of words...but he spoke out today...and for the first time she realized the full extent of his feelings for her, including the fact that had she stayed back at AHMD he would have been so melancholy.

Thank you CVS, for giving us a Mukhi who is learning to express his love...other than his great vichar on things.

Also , am liking that the main premise of the show has begun and we are watching the main plot of the story. The village Mukhiya needs some direction and advise from the city girl on some issues of social and civil modernization. And Aru needs Mukhiya's support for her city dreams. I am so thankful the makers have not sidetracked from the main plot and keep coming back to it , interweave it with the other comedy and serious tracks.

We saw how Mukhi wanted Aru to follow her city dreams, stay in city and be successful. But Aru is determined to stay with him in Amboli and will try to fullfill her dreams there. That was such a true emotion that was displayed...when you want your spouse to be successful but you have to stay away from him or her to let that happen. Been through couple of such times myself...its such an agony to encourage your loved one to go and live somewhere else and prosper , while you miss him every minute your are away. And then we saw the determined Aru who has been through this churning too many times and wants to follow her dreams with Mukhi in his village.

Now, we see the purpose of an educated city girl in a village as a Mukhiyani. Her efforts to bring toilet structures into the village is one among the many progressive steps she will take in her role as a woman and Mukhiyani. And waiting for more to come. Our Mukhi is a sweet and genuine man, but he has grown up in a village and takes some things are norm. Its Mukhiyani's role to change that. So again, kudos to makers for touching upon essential premise of the show.

Now, coming to the issue that has people divided and frustrated about Aru's behaviour of not trusting Mukhiji . Read some posts of people fuming over it. So wanted to address a few things.

It might seem that Aru is being very silly, childish and untrustworthy of Mukhi's maturity on matters of physical intimacy. But , she is not very wrong actually. There is a huge difference between intimacy and passion. Intimacy is where as husband and wife , the man and woman are physically in close proximity, but are not really doing the act. For example, cuddling, having a conversation in the bed nighttime or early morning, holding hands, cooking together etc and more.

Passion and Desire are something else, they are to do with physically wanting the other person wholly...and Aru has not awakened to that yet!!. These steps are for her feelings, senses to awaken and for her to truly desire Mukhiji without any fear. For now she accepts the intimacy..unknowingly so. ..she is not afraid so sleep in same bed, she calls him herself to tie her dori, she is the one who has initiated most hugs so far, and she is the one going to him for cuddles while sleeping :):):)

She is right now coming to intimacy stage.

But as she suddenly realized in the dori tie scene, intimacy can lead to moments of other feelings like passion and desire. And since Mukhi has promised to wait for her consent, this is a slow burn of both waiting for complete physical desire , and acceptance to awaken before they take the next step.

To me it seems the right approach..especially in a wedding that was not consensual, consent on this matter in fact is very very critical. In fact , I take offense on the idea that consent is not that important just because they are married. Neither husband or wife should be giving in to physical relationship without consent. Its not just Aru's consent that is needed, Mukhi's consent is also needed and it should not be taken for granted just because he is male and is supposed to be ever-ready. Thats not true about men either.

The same Aru who is afraid that Mukhi might have done something while drunk, is the same Aru who has stuck with him, trusted him through thick and thin and waged a war against Mukhi himself so she can stay with him. This is the same girl who swallowed a railway ticket and almost choked on it so as to not leave him...who harassed Mukhi to get him to confess.. THAT IS HOW MUCH SHE TRUSTS HIM WITH HERSELF, HER LIFE, HER DREAMS..everything.. Its not Mukhi she doubts, its herself. Its her own feelings of desire that are visiting her , and she is having to fight them. So she is actually frustrated and imposing her annoyance on him. She just needs to have a conversation with someone wise, like Saanvi or her mother figure , that its okay for a woman to feel these things for the man she loves. Passion and desire are very normal , but yet many women do feel ashamed and hesitant to accept these feelings for their husband . Because we have grown up in a culture where are men are supposed to do the "wanting" and good women are supposed to be shy.

And throughout the comedy, we got to see the frustrations of a married, much in love couple trying to defy physical attractions..ultimately leading to the confession scene today. Which we all wanted anyway. So , if Aru had not accused Mukhi and threatened to leave him, we would not have such heart touching confession from Mukhi..we would not have heard his longing nor his fears.With that, she has promised not to doubt him again, and also established her rights of cuddling into him while sleeping !!. The track is actually quite beautiful, coz they cannot show Aru Mukhi being mature and serious all the time. They are married now, they will have some good days and bad days and some days when both are being plain dumb. And if CVs show only the good stuff the show will get over :).

So I am very happy with the episodes and the track that was played out.!! Waiting to see their relationship strengthen and deepen, before the villains strike!

Loved this one. No more to say! Mukhi just goes higher and higher in respect for me. And oh yes! this was a confession straight from his heart.

Aru's behaviour and Mukhi's reaction... typical of their characters. He did not show an iota of anger or resentment for what she did. The playful Aru and the mature simple hearted Mukhi. Love them both so much.
