You have answered your question already in there. Sanaya and Barun together were successful in the past when they were colleagues, again that is in the past. Right now there are like family, and you cant really put up a romantic act against your own family member. It had been proved in EkJashn, their chemistry had no charm, there were lot of inexplicable missing elements. And universal truth is, just because something worked out tremendously at some point, doesnt mean it will happen all the time. It is just destiny, stars aligned on time at right place for Shivani for her to bag this show. Let us acknowledge that!
And also remember, makers are the biggest fans of their actors. If they are not fans, if they do not believe in their cast, its going to backfire at them more than at you, me or any tom, dick , and harry. So allow one to take their decisions and experiment, and not be so insensitive about sticking to the consistent pairing. Honestly it gets boring. Gul shows have similar style of toe-curling romance and if its played repeatedly by the same set of actors, I dont think there will be any magic in it. It would turn out like Ekta mayi's shows wherein the same pair of leads get married again and again, spends firat night again and again... Neh, not so cool!
