Nice post.
It is finally nice to see that Rikara are having some meaningful scenes and convo. Earlier it was Gauri trying to save Om from his BuaMa and she stayed back, biting all the insults and humiliations, doing her duty as a wife, standing by her husband through thick and thin.
Now that that danger has passed, she is not trying to take advantage of the wealth, NKK of the Oberoi family. She is keeping her distance from Om and trying to get out, which is commendable given that her home is also associated with bad memories of KT and her ordeal at his hands. Wonder when all this is going to come out and when it does, OM is going to feel doubly guilty as he had pre judged Gauri, called her names... etc.
True, the baby track brought up some revelations for RiKara. Gauri knows that Om had a past, besides caring for his mom/bros. Her eyes are not enclosed like a horse, she can see the truth. I don't know if you noticed but all the 3 girls did not carry or care for the baby as much as the Obros did. I think they were all maintaining their distance from the men for their own reasons.
They did not feel they had the right to question or feel angry about the Pari situation, handled it maturely. the questioning by Gauri regarding her place in Om's life was bang on and also the comment on Om being the father. It was a simple acceptance of the reality as life has dealt her some hard knocks. Om has seen always things in black n white. He is unable to answer Gauri's question. Life is grey... not everything can be classified as black/white. Gauri is discovering the various shades to Om.
Looking forward to more such scenes as the writer can come up with poignant, mesmerising, beautiful scenes and these two are also doing a fab job.
