Part 19
Ishra talk for sometimes then Raman patted her to sleep .Next day all were having breakfast when Toshiji told Raman " puttar now as ishita puttar has completed 6 months of her pregnancy and entered in seventh month ,we need to arrange a baby shower for ishita as per ritual ."
R- but ma how can you do a baby shower before we get married ,wait for some days ,today I will fill the form and also will talk to pathak to fasten the proceedings ,we will get married in fifteen days then you can happily arrange ishitas baby shower in which you can also announce our marriage.
T- ye bhi changa rahega ,then you fill the form today and talk to pathak .
Till now ishita was listening everything and was thinking then she spoke in mid " But am..I mean Raman what's the need of marrying again we are married ,and our marriage is already registered."
R- what ! marriage is already registered.
I- yeah,you had told me that even if you forget me ,I will have a proof of our marriage and I can claim you .
Raman was surprised listening to her , he look deep into her eyes and asked " then why didn't you claimed me when I was shouting on you ".
I- because I don't want to be with you by forcing you ,I want you to recognize me and take me with you with your own will not because I have legal documents.
Raman shook his head in disbelief and was about to speak something when simmi spoke " I m amazed ishita how can someone love anybody like this ".
Ishita just smiled when Raman told " you have that registration certificate ".
I- humm.
R- give it to me ,you know now neighter we are husband and wife nor we can marry .
I- (surprised )- why .
R- because you married Aman ,who doesn't exist and as you are already married you cannot marry me till you divorce Aman .
Ishita became tense listening to this she started crying ,suddenly she felt nausea, she went to washroom and threw up.Raman talked to doctor, she prescribed some medicine and also told that its normal in pregnancy, they have to take care of her and keep her stress free .Raman consoled ishita and told her to stress free ,she had her medicine but it didn't helped her as she was thinking again and again .
Till afternoon her health worsen ,he finally had to call doctor ,she checked ishita and told its out if stress only ,she had to stop taking tension .After doctor left Raman settled beside ishita and asked " ishita why are you stressing yourself so much ,main hoon na sab theek kar doonga ".
I- but how Raman , aman to hai hi nahi ,how he will divorce me .
R- don't you trust me .
I- I do trust you but worried about baby ,you know if we go as per law my baby is illegitimate which is not true ,at this point if time I m feeling I was wring doing all this ,you always tried to stop me but I was one who wanted to marry you asap without thinking anything ,you were right raman I was so wrong ,now what we will do .
Saying so she started crying ,Raman side hugged her and spoke " sshush ishita how much you think ,jab sochna tha that time you didn't thought and now when I m there you are tensed unnecessarily. you relax ,give me all the documents related to Aman ,I will go and talk to pathak about this ".
Ishita did same ,she gave the file which contain all the document relating to Aman along with his all the medical papers ,Raman took it and went to meet pathak ,instructing ishita not to think so much and rest .Then he went to pathak , and told about his problem ,pathak saw all the documents and spoke" its very simple bhai ,you just have to do some of your medical test which will prove you and Aman are same ,after that we will make a legal affidavit that Raman Kumar bhalla and Aman are same .it will solve all your problems ,your marriage will be legal and you don't have to marry again.
Raman got happy listening to this ,he went to a well known pathology and did all his necessary tests.The doctor told that it will take one week to get all the reports but Raman insisted ,gave him some extra money to give the reports asap . Doctor agreed and told that he will be able to give reports on next day only . Raman informed same to pathak ,he told that he will be ready with all the documents and will file for affidavit as soon as they get his reports.
It took almost whole day for Raman to complete all the formalities, it was evening when he returned home and got to know that ishita had not ate anything as she is not able to digest , she kept on throwing all the day .Raman went to her and saw her laying in the bed ,he went to her and caressed her forehead ,she opened her eyes and tried to sit ,Raman told her to lay and asked " why didn't you had anything ".
I- I tried but couldn't .
R- I told you na I will take care of it then why you stressed yourself .
I- kuch hua kya .
R- humm .
Saying so he narrated everything ,ishita got relaxed listening to it ,but next moment another question popped up in her mind ,she again looked at him with questioning eyes .Raman asked " now what happened. "
I- what if the reports are negative and they prove you are not Aman but Raman .
Raman too got worried listening to her ,he looked at her ,she was already looking at him ,their eyes got locked which was broken by Ishita as she wanted to know his answer. He side hugged her and spoke " why do you make your mind do extra work ,let it be ,don't stress yourself .for now I m same person ,when the report will come we will see .you rest ,till then I will change ,then had something and finally you sleep without stressing your self as I m there to take care of rest of things ."
Ishita gave a weak smile and lays down on bed while Raman went to complete his work .It was night Raman came into room after having his dinner while ishita just had milk and medicine .She was watching TV when he entered the room ,he saw this and spoke " arey you had not yet slept yet ,Chalo so jaao ."
I- Raman I m tired of laying in bed since morning ,I m not sleep ,can we talk .
He settled beside her and spoke " kya baat karni hai bolo ".
I- nothing precisely but just randomly.
R- achcha bolo .
Ishita thought for sometimes s she was not getting what to talk then she asked" achcha tell how did you felt when you saw the baby yesterday ".
Raman thought a while then spoke " I was overwhelmed, I cannot tell you the exact feeling that I felt ,I was happy ,surprised ,excited everything ,I can say it was a mixed expression ".
Ishita got happy listening to him ,then like this she asked some more question to her ,he too asked many thing about her and finally Ishita slept . He made her lay properly ,covered her fully with duvet and then climbed down the bed ,he opened his laptop to work ,when he saw ishitas medical file was kept along with his files, he took the sonography report and looked at ishita's sleeping figure .He called her name twice but she didn't responded, confirming that she has slept he opened the file and took out the sonography report and caressed the black mark in which small hands and legs were visible .
He smiled fully recalling the thudding sound of heartbeat which he had heard through the earphone and spoke to himself happily " it my baby ,how small is he ".
He then hugged the picture close to his heart while his eyes got filled with the happy tears ,he wiped them and spoke looking up " matarani a person can never understand what you have planned for him ,I m holding my baby's pic,symbol of my and my wife's love but the irony of my life is I don't remember my wife , our love and our moments . Nobody will understand what I m going through ,we are going to be mother and father of our baby but still we are uncomfortable, though she says that she has accepted me as her husband but I can see the awkwardness on her face when I m near her ,even I feel goosebumps being near to her .Its not that I don't want to go near her but I m scared of her reaction ,moreover I m hesitant to touch her like that . please matarani show me some way so that I can make her happy and comfortable.
I had already lost five months of her pregnancy now I want to make her easy by giving her the love abd care she deserve."
He was talking to matarani when he noticed that ishita is shivering ,he immediately improved the temperature of Ac and covered her fully .He started working but his eyes were on her ,he noticed she was trying to cover herself again and again in her sleep .He went near to check her temperature, it was normal but she was feeling cold.He thought to talk to doctor but saw its late , he shrug the thought and sat beside her ,she snuggled into him in sleep and slept .He narrowed his eyes thinking she was shivering till now and now slept, he made a confused face and tried to got up but she was rounding her both hands around his waist .He smiled looking to her sleeping posture and settled beside her ,the moment he lay, she hided herself in him and slept peacefully, he smiled a bit and then closed his too pulling her more into him ,soon he to slept without feeling awkward .
