I don't like it when the family is shown in the sidelines and then brought to the stage. Every contestant whose performance is shown in full length seemed to have some sort of tragic story. I would rather watch full length dances of other contestants whose performances are shown in compressed form than 5 minutes of sad stories from other contestants.

i agreed. i fast-forwarded the comedy and the family drama portions & due to this other dances get very little screen space. i don't want to listen to the background story when the contestant already explained why they want to be in the top 12 spot. why are they repeating it again when they already showed it in the auditions round?
i'm waiting for next week as fikshun is going to initiate the international dance squad challenge. let's see how next week's episode turns out to be

I am also getting a bit frustrated with the extra focus on the family dramas. I am okay with families being shown. But the stories seem to take away the credibility of the dancers. For AVP crew , I almost felt that the sob story was the reason they were into despite their good performance.

I agree.. It is plain frustrating to not able to see full length performances if the auditions and participants due to unneccesary background coverage if contestants. 🥱
