Sumo's accident! Did anybody think about this?

so as I was re-watching the episodes again and I come across the accident scene and I begin to wonder something that the CVS have totally missed out on! So right after sumo's accident ( where the car literally explodes over sumo and throws her off) ,how is it that Shravan or nobody cared about it being a hit and run case ? Lawyer brain?
Strange to me? Imagine if it happened ? What if this side of the story was explored a bit! The accident thing would have many more shraman scenes with a possessive lawyer Shravan trying to fight for it!
