hi Bhawna ...i was giving example of umashankar for his traditional views,,,,,, not the extremes portrayed in the serial,,,,,,,,,,,,,i am a typical educated middleclass middleaged woman and i have seen arranged marriages where families look for well settled boy, his nature, his habits have to be tolerated by the girl when she enters his family...and women are usually expected to adjust. selfrespect is what is compromised upon...this mindset hasnt changed much over the years in traditional indian families ...maybe thats why kumkum bhagya kind of serials are still aired... i was looking for the nayi soch serials but they are also disappointing...

I went through the forum and saw this post still going. You guys are so hilarious😆. I am surprised that one of the members who was anti-Abeer and talked a lot that Abeer is this and that and even said that Amala should kill Abeer which will be a good message is active in Tu Suraj Main Saanjh Piyaji forum. How can this guy or girl be in that forum when he/she was fighting like hell that Where should be punished as he is a culprit? Umashankar kya mahaan insaan hai? That member almost popped up in every post and start blabbering anti-Abeer speeches? Ab kya hua bhai? TSMSP dekhte waqt saarespeeches bhool gayi kya? I too watched that pati ke pair dhokar... promo and was horrified. How come that show gets so much TRPs while KQHAK gets the lowest TRPs?
PS: Now I watch the show only some times not regularly like before as for me who watched the original this show is too slow for me. Evaan ka baap ab tak zinda hai. In Zindagi version, he died within 20-25 episodes or more earlier. I am not against the show but still I don't feel like watching it often.
