A musical needs hit music-This could affect the opening.

BV opened low because of negativity-there is a lot a negativity around JJ too.

The opening can be anything-cant say..

Criticks and WOM...both are important for a film these days. It's true if the WOM is good...the film will work but criticks precede WOM. There's a reason why trolls like KRK are fed or some criticks are kept like pets by these actors and given occasional treats.

even the failure of tubelight is not coz critics panned it..they have done it to several salman movies..it is coz the audience rejected it..so at the end it is wom not critics rating..

I know critics are not the reason if a movie is a hit but nowadays people at least read some reviews and decides to watch the movie. After people realise that the movie is bad/good then it translates into the WOM. Right now Critics can influence a little bit the trend of the first days.
