Bringing Tejaswini back can serve as a punishment to Ranjana for doing nothing to help him during his madness and as a way to lure Suraj back to him.

Tejaswini knows KN better than anyone, so she should know better than giving another chance. Perhaps getting back what she believes is rightfully hers and getting one over on Ranjana are too tempting for her.

There is no love lost between Suraj and KN so I don't think he'll fall for his words unless Tijaswini emotionally blackmails him into accepting his father's apology. The most likely scenario is that Chakor will tell him to pretend to forgive KN so that they could know his plans. This is a chance to free Suraj because I can't see how can KN apologize to him and still keep him a bandhua.
