😕 i think ranveer made big mistake like sunny deol made in past padmavtoislove story btw padmavayi and ratan mostly he is playing negative role only he gave his 14months for movie and rejected many movies for this movie and we all knows slb will focus his music his romance and his big sets so songs and romance will get hit like his past movies in bajirao mastani priyanka did better acting stole show but priyanka was not getting public attention bec deepika ranveer were as romantic leag song were on rs dp they got most attention so why ranveer selected padmavti and put his career in danger where all knew slb will make this movie another love story and he wants known name to make movie hit which shahid kapoor lack so he offered srk this role toobut he rejected slb cant make movies witbout romance so ranveer wasted his time 🥱 how can slb who knows for love story magic canmake khilji better then padma ratan love story

I would say that he is actually being smart by sticking to SLB 24/7 because even he knows that he is a nonentity without the guidance of his mentor.

I don't think so...I think that Ranveer is a very good actor...and he is going to nail the role of Khilji just like he did that of BajiRao( even though the movie was shitfest and Ranveer and PC were the only saving grace)

So even if the movie is not good...Ranveer will kill it...He already looks so menacing..and as an actor one should be ready to do any kind of role...I am so glad that SRK did negative roles in Darr and Bazigar...my most favorite roles of SRK are the negative ones.

Audience is not as emotionally mature now as before that they will like the Villain more than the lead couple as they did in Darr

So this role is risky given that all sympathy will be for Padma-Ratan and their tragic end, their love story will be focus of all songs and romantic scenes...while Khilji will be most hated character

well the whole point of the villain is to hate them, ranveer said himself that the audience will love to hate khilji, he knows his character is getting no sympathy as he has no redeeming features, he did the role as it is so different, how many more times is he gonna play the romantic lead? if he played ratan it wud hav been just a repeat of the whole Bajirao type character

its his performance that is going to make the impact, if he gets the audience to hate his character then he will hav succeeded, coz thats the reaction the character shud get

and i do think the audience has matured enough to appreciate any performance, whether its a negative or positive character

That's what. Khilji isn't supposed to be sympathised with. He is supposed to be hated. Its a completely negative character with no redeeming qualities.
