Some futile questions, but I feel compelled to state them even though the show obviously will continue on it's generally nonsensical comedy route.

Will Anika ever be allowed the brains to comprehend what she experienced with Shivaay for the past many months? It is one thing to show a character's insecurity, it's a whole another thing to show her deliberately obtuse to the OBVIOUS affections of her husband...what did she think Shivaay was doing all this time if she actually thought his khushi was in her leaving him? 😕 We are expected to buy that she was THAT stupid? Oh I'm sorry the PC term for convenience here seems to be "insecure"...apparently my understanding of insecurity is totally different from what the writers are claiming per their convenience...

To add insult to injury today, they continue down this path of still making Anika mouth these lines of "Mere liye Shivaay ki khushi sab kuch hai"...pray tell where in all this did Shivaay give her any indication that his happiness would be in her leaving him? Ok chalo fine whatever, water under the bridge, done with now...but in her so called "regret waali realization" today also they insist on continuing with this baseless rationalization?

You want to show her regretting her mistake? GREAT...I have no issues with that...but can you please give her some SEMBLANCE of sense as she expresses that regret?

Will such a day EVER come when Anika will regret not VALUING Shivaay's love for her, not having enough FAITH in his love for her rather than constantly repeating the same "maybe his khushi lies elsewhere, oh but my mangalsutra rocks, he is still my pati"..."I left him for his khushi...oh but now I want him back"...do they even think through anything before giving her these lines? 😕

Either they shouldn't even have shown her responding to Shivaay's affections in the first place if they wanted to show her as THAT clueless...but they want to run with both angles...show her crazily insecure out of the blue and then show her randomly wanting to fight for their relationship too when it suits the writer's purpose😕...is Anika allowed to have any semblance of sense as a character or is that too much expectation from the writers?

By the way this, is all a side discussion apart from the usual silly games that Shivika will ofcourse continue with their farak/move on/whatever games...I have no issues with that...but it does grate when they show Anika's thought process in such a brainless manner...as if no thought is put in at all in giving her a semblance of credibility as a character.

Good post but this track will only move forward if the whole truth is out and it's been dragging for past 2 months and that's what is killing the show. They are dragging this track for no reason at all plus this random comedy is not helping it's just filler episodes from What I read. The story is still dragging and not moving forward. I have given up hope and I will only watch if pinky truth is out. I can't tolerate bull craps b3ing shoved in our face in the name of trp story. I hope trp falls tomorrow. I want a decrease in trp so gulneet take a hint and speed up the track of pinky exposure. Lame track and lame separation

simple point anu - they have lost the grip on the story and lost the audiences too. and now this is a scramble to try and get them back but banadi ek indigestible khichdi 😆😆😆

and the worst is ruining of anika's character. i hope makers paid more attention to her attributes than her looks which anyways is not that great or comment worthy to begin with 😆

but we cant do anything, the writer is lost in her own world where she only sees fans flattering her, so she doesnt care about any reviews

besides Harneet has always loved SSO more than anyone else, SSO destroyed Annika- Annika didnt even remain angry with him for a day

SSO called her characterless- in one episode the forgiving part was done

Annika did same thing with SSO, we are given weeks of SSO being angry, albeit i agree that SSO was in love, so his pain is defo on another level. Thing is Annika's character has always been tampered to please the writers, one day she's good, next day she's a victim, next day she's a mahaan bahu, next day she's a mahaan biwi, next day she's again an idiot, she's again brainless, and even today she realised what exactly?

she wants his tadi back or his love back? note that these are completely two different things actually, though they are related.

every viewers thought Annika's abandonment issues of always losing those she loved will be tackled, but we all got shocked that it's Annika 'inferiority' complex which is what writers will give.

Nothing makes sense, not that random harsh separation, not this sudden drop of Annika in OM, not SSO seeing how everyone in his family is actually siding with Annika( Eureka, why doesnt his batti light up) neither does Annika's whole promise to return the old SSO back

amidst all this mess, note they arent even dealing with the real issue at all, which is Pinky

can Pinky just die? so much for the writer's 'i do not drag tracks', Pinky has been a torture since April now, and will remain for a few more months

to conclude few weeks back Harneet wrote " Dont ask why, just say Shivaay"

means the only character which she deems to invest on is Shivaay, Annika is the super mahaan Biwi/Bahu/Sis/Bhabhi, they can do everything with her character😆

Ruz, I get that they are scrambling to get the story back to the usual drama in OM but even then...even OmRu are getting better "damage control" lines than Anika, man...and the irony is that the Shivika relationship was far deeper than all this...but they have literally zapped the whole thing from Anika's perspective...I understand their rush and scramble to get this back into Shivika reuniting mode but if they want to spend the time to give Anika these monologues, why can't they bother adding some halfway decent lines? How much effort would it take to just show her feeling regretful about not having faith in Shivaay, in their relationship? But all we get is one random line about how she shouldn't have listened to Pinky😕😆...and another random one about "Only Shivaay's happiness matters to me, now I want to fight for this relationship so I need a sign that he still cares for me"😕😆

They are literally making it appear as if Anika remembers NOTHING from the EXTENSIVE history she's shared with Shivaay...as if she didn't know him even one bit beyond these token tadi and tashan fights😕😆...Now I can understand if Shivaay is feeling like he never knew her cuz he's the one who got his heart broken but Anika ko kya confusion hai? The writers REALLY want to tell us after ALL this time that Anika didn't know Shivaay even this much? 😕😆

@anu - also They really want to continue with AG but the fans are making it clear that she should go...hence this lame storyline with the comedy until they figure out what exactly they should do😆 (CG'S thoughts and mine too)

i really think only more fall in trps can salavge the situation as writer sahiba is not ready to stop her over arching arc anytime soon. this whole drama started in april with pinky so it makes it at what 4 months now

Her today's dialogues were based on his recent behaviour as he did show that ke he is not at all affected with any of her act now. That's why she wanted to get some ishara. She was insecure and her insecurities + Shivaay NKK obsession played a big role in decision she made. Yes she was totally wrong in that decision but so did Shivaay. If she failed to understand her husbands love then he also failed to see her love for him when she has done numerous things for him & his family.

Shivaay made exception for her but after NT track in kitchen he clearly said (which annika heard) that if it was about his NKK then he would have fully broken. He did say/show her that she is important but whenever the matter was of his family & her he sidelined her/yelled at her in front of whole family.

I still didn't get that if he wanted to know the mastermind behind who brought NT then why did he sent her once annika took pinky name? He knew annika very well but ok it was about his mother so he dismissed and thought that it was annika vehem but then when Om asked that if NT wanted money then she could have got using sahil so what was point of NT staying at house but SSO dismissed that question. Why didn't he check on this further as it was directly related to his wifes emotions, isn't it?

Then again he yelled in prinku mrg case as soon as annika took pinky name and then said sorry and said that I know you didn't do it.

But then the point is if annika didn't do then someone is there who tried to defame annika so why didn't he check on matter that who is trying to defame his wife. In mehndi again Pinky tried to blame her and he said annika can't do it but then someone did mix chemical in mehndi so why didn't he check on that?

Annika did mistake by giving up to Pinky blackmail but then how come Shivaay believed her act so easily and didn't understood the depth of her love.

Just before coming to near mandap she told him that she was unable to breathe. Then in mandap she started act and in that act whatever she said was all true. Then she went over bored insulted Dadi/OmRu everyone and he threw her away. Ok in anger he did that but after time couldn't he realise that how can a person change so much in half an hour. She didn't took any money as alimony, his brothers are in her team, he has also spend moments with her and he knows that her reaction to his touch were real then how can he not figure out that she was not what she shown. How come he couldn't understand her love for him.

Annika values shivaay's love but in all her life she has only seen lose of loved one. Like she herself says ke jab bhi meri life me khushi aati hai to bhagwan kuch na kuch bada chhen leta h uske badle me. In NT track also she said ke "hmesa ki tarah is bar bhi trailor khusiyon ka tha lekin picture nikali puri B garde".

Annika's insecurities are more deep than Shivaay's NKK so it had to take time to overcome then and she is overcoming them slowly.

If Shivaay didn't show that his happiness will be in her leaving then he also didn't that he will be happy if she is there. Now that she saw that he is still wearing that ring so she will fight for him.

She won't give to pinky blackmail now.

@black: LOL Harneet said that? For real? How ironic that women themselves make the female character an afterthought in their writing...haha so much for women's empowerment...I guess hormones get in the way...all the attention gets diverted to only bothering with the male lead's thought process😆

@blue: Totally agree...but things weren't this bad earlier...there was still some credibility to Anika's character...her selflessness, her insecurities were understandable...but this Pinky track washed away all of that out of the blue...as you said, the real issue is Pinky...instead the writers made some convoluted khichdi out of Anika suddenly supposedly thinking that her leaving Shivaay would make him happy...they had no premise for a seperation so they forced one in and now they are trying to weasel their way out also in a totally nonsensical fashion using Anika as the scapegoat...I'm not complaining about a Shivika reuniting track...that's welcome anyday over the other lame tracks but the fact that they don't even bother putting a LITTLE sense into Anika's thought process about how and why she wants to now fight for her relationship...that is what makes this sad...sometimes they want to pretend that Anika is so insecure that she thinks Shivaay will leave her at any moment, sometimes they want to show her as so confident that Shivaay will bring her back...😕...how can it be both things simultaneously? Such poor writing.

When will it be Anika's turn to show her rangs?

When will we get an Anika centric track?

When will her character show some growth?

When will I get the Anika I lost back?

When will Anika introspect - NT track, jungle track?

When will her 'FLIPs' make sense?😕

When will Anika talk to Shivaay directly without using lies as a facade?

When will the CVs chart down Anika's character's graph as well?

When will Anika go on her own redemption path? When will she battle her own fears?

When will she realize how much she had hurt Shivaay that day?

When will she realize Taddi does not define the man she 'loves'.. his family does?

Why is this Pinky vs Anika? Why is this track not Anika vs Shivaay?

I just can't connect with this Anika.. Can't understand her actions or reactions 😭

Separation happened the way it happened... it did not make sense..Okay I accepted it..

Anika cries looking at the MS... Okay.. I'm even fine with her crying because she is hurt..

BUT I was hoping that post that separation, we will see Anika's journey.. but all we are getting is these games.. and things that don't make any sense 😭

I used to eagerly wait for Anika's monologues.. now I dread them.. because they will make her say something nonsensical resulting in more confusion.. *head-on-desk*

CVs, please.. give her character some balance.. some substance..

Bang on.. post.. 😳 even though I was the one rooting for Annika to feel the heartbreak as much as Shivaay.. cz the poor man is broken.. and I thought that Shivaay feigning marriage to Nagini will help in some way.. but her monologue today just did OMM of my expectations from Anika's love.. I have big doubts she has forgotten that this man wanted to celebrate his first night with this woman.. she's had a ML for real.. 😕
Or we should have a ML as viewers to be able to digest this..
Harneet was right with her mantra.. "Don't ask me why..?? Just say Shivaay "
I think Shivaay is the only one who will be able to salvage this.. now.. only if he finds his brains.. cz ye baaki Sab to pagal ho chuke hain.. especially Annika
