Kashibai: On Misrepresentation

Misconception ...

Altered perceptions of my life - to put it mildly

Why do modern day script writers - show me so badly?

Misrepresentation like a fake agent ...

Showing me in such bad light ... I watch in amazement!

I was Bajirao's wife - the first woman he wooed

The only woman who understood his lifelong fortitude

The only wife who took time to nurse his wounds

Protect and save him from inner feuds

He played his role just right

Even when he brought Mastani as a bride

I was his favorite wife

It was me he turned to for inspiration to play out his life!

My story has been silenced, bound with lies, why?

Because they want to change it to something popular and make money thereby!

Couldn't have put it better 👍🏼 I wish the makers of the show could read this. Am sure all of this is done in an attempt to glorify Mastani and her love story. Disgusted 😵
