Come on.. please make some sense Uma shankar. Who the hell leaves his wife alone in a place she isn't familiar with! Anybody could have done anything to her, and she was just sleeping! Her cloths were messed up! You speak so much about dharm, so does Lord Shiva say that leave your wife alone in such a messed up situation when she tries to influence your life? Or to make her understand and try to change her? (That's a completely different thing)) I know what Kanak did was unforgivable, but how could you just lose your senses? If she's immature, will you follow her path too?
You married her, because you thought that it's God's sign, forcefully. Nobody forced you to marry her and destroy her life!! And back then you promised your God that you'll never again try to break this relationship again. What happened to that promise?

Anyway, Back on the road. Uma bursts out on Kanak and confronts her. He is right, I agree and he has his reasons to be furious on her because he tried to take away what was precious to him, but I think his God must have understood that he wasn't aware of it and I'm sure he must have forgiven him because he didn't do it purposely.
YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO KNOW THAT UMA SHANKAR! You claim that you've read every religious book then how come you don't know this?

Anyway, back to the road. Uma said that he would take all those three wishes Kanak asked him to secure her future.
YOU NUT!! SHE ASKED YOU THIS BECAUSE SHE KNEW YOU'D LEAVE HER!! She knew that if a person can marry a girl without knowing her will would also leave her in the middle of nowhere in just a snap of a finger!

ANYWAY, by God's grace Kanak has such an understanding family, who love her immensely even after she ditched them and got married without letting them know (in their point of view) Kanak is really lucky to have such a beautiful family. BUT! What if she didn't have such an understanding family? What if her family were of those "purane khayal wale" kinda who would dump Kanak after knowing that her husband ditched her? Where would she go then? No money, no nothing!
YOU WOULD HAVE DESTROYED HER LIFE UMA SHANKAR! And that is even more of a sin that just drinking alcohol!!!

Cvs please stuff some sense in your story because I just can't handle both the main protagonists being so stupid! Seriously, I'm thanking God that this is just a serial, because in real life things would've gotten so bad!

I was wondering about the same thing, and thinking why anyone never bought it up, ever since that future security episode aired.

Hmm can I ask what else can he or could he have possibly do to get to her and make her understand that she just can't go acting like she has been acting for the last two weeks or so now?

I don't get it, this guy has been nothing but patience with her and for what if not that for the fact that he married her wrongly and acknowledged it and trying to make it up to her trying to get her to forgive his wrong doing and instead of kanak to behave wisely to show him his thinking regarding how a woman should behave or shouldn't is wrong started acting like a kid and start messing with his religion and his years and years of believe that he isn't gonna forget or change his view on just like.

Just like kanak need time to know to get to know him, he also need time to see how the world has change. They both need time to get to know each other and if I was US I have would have done what he did to her today after all that's what she wanted all along.

She does not want their marriage and he too is fed up with her behaviour, so he let her go simple.

I totally agree with u, sakshi. That is my point of view too .And I think the only way to be forgiven (by some part of audience 😉) is to deeply, madly love and value her soon.

I never said what Kanak did was right (check out my other post about kanak) , I'm just saying that what Uma did wasn't right either.

I know Kanak is annoying, very much. She's immature and doesn't know the consequences of her actions. Uma was lenient towards her and she took its advantage by irritating him. But at least Uma is sensible? He married her because he wanted it, now she's his responsibility. They are husband and wife, and there are complications in every relationship, does that mean that we should break every relationship? For God's sake they just got married! And besides, when a husband decides to leave his wife he has to pay alimony! Not just randomly leaves her to die! He could've confronted her, warned her, but leaving her like this alone, in a place she isn't familiar with without any money? Where would she go? Come on, did he think of that? Or did he just want her to beg for his forgiveness? Come on. Anything could have happened to her. And as he always says "his reputation is doomed to hers"
This was so irresponsible! Why is that all the duties should only be fulfilled by a woman? What does a man do? Enjoy the royal treatment he is receiving from his wife? Come on.

Yup I know. This is Uma Shankar we are talking about, and we know the way he is. I'm just saying that if it had happened in real life, without a man like Uma then that woman had to pay so much without her fault. I knew Uma Shankar wanted Kanak to beg for his forgiveness and accept his principles on dharam, even if she doesn't believe in them or is against them, he doesn't care! I know, I understand.

And if she fails, she'll have to live in that prison forever like Palomi, with all those rules and regulations and also punishments. But I just don't understand one thing could you please explain, what did she do to deserve all this?

Anyway, I understand that Kanak wasn't right, Uma tried explaining her multiple times but she didn't listen to him, I know, I'm just saying what Uma did wasn't right either. Just think practically. People here, just because Uma is handsome and he is male protagonist of this series, like him and want Kanak and Uma to consummate.

Even though Uma is a man of his principles, he treats women like they are some animal, who are supposed to satisfy their hunger by supplying food and are tied up to some corner in the house so that they don't run away. They get respect because they are the reason they are living, but they don't consider their happiness and their wants. I'm sorry, I do love them on-screen, but I'd really dislike Kanak if she falls for a man like him. And will stop watching the show. He has to change for Kanak at least, and that is what we call "true love" don't we?

Uma is nothing but a big jerk and every time this man use Dharam as his defence... His first and unforgivable mistake was to force a unknown girl for marriage without her wish than try to control her.
In ancient time... our ruler had given the power to their daughter to choose a husband for themselves through "swayamvar".
