The most likely reason is that Imli does not want KN to know about Vivaan's involvement in injecting him with those madness injections and taking over his empire with Ragini. Suraj, Chakor and Imli have most likely told KN that Ragini to to blame for his madness and he doesn't know about Vivaan's involvement in all this. Imli is afraid that if KN meets Ragini and finds out about Vivaan's involvement in all this he will want to punish her dear hubby Vivaan as well which she does not want, that's why to to stop KN and Ragini from meeting she helped Ragini to escape.

I am not the least bit surprised Imli would do this to keep Vivaan from being exposed, I remember how she behaved when Vivaan was in jail the last time. If or I should say when she comes back, Imli will be responsible for the havoc that Ragini wreaks.

On the positive side I am glad it is not Ajay who helps Ragini, I love his character and fear CVs will turn him negative
