Oberoi mansion

"see you soon Mrs. Anika Shivaay Singh Oberoi he says and smirks " I found you, finally shivaay says as he looks at her photograph and caresses it.

Smiling he looks up to see his brother looking at him happily. "ab bhabhi ghar aa rahi hai vo bhi ek saal baad, isi baat pe ek OBro hug toh banta hai rudra said as he came forward with open arms to hug his brothers. They break the hug, "plan ka first part toh successful tha, ab second part ke liye lets go shivaay said and went downstairs and his brothers followed.

"dadi rudra calls her loudly and hugs her, "guess karo kaun aa raha hai? dadi looks at him puzzled. "kaun aa raha hai? "anika bhabhi. As soon as rudra says that, dadi's face brightens, "sach mein? Anika wapis aa rahi hai? dadi asks. "haan dadi, humari anika vapis aa rahi hai, shivaay says as he hugs her, he breaks the hug after a few seconds, "aapko pata hai na kya karna hai?

"ye sab kya ho raha hai, main phirse vahan kaise ja saqti hun, anika was sitting holding her head in her palms. " anika di, kya hua? Aap itna paresaan kyun hain? a girl, almost her age, comes and sits beside her. "kuch nahi gauri, mujhe ek naya assignment mila hai, humein Mumbai jana hai. Shivaay singh oberoi ke chote bhai Rudra singh oberoi ki shaadi hai, Anika tells gauri, who was an intern working under anika. "accha, phir toh bada maza aayega gauri said all excited to go to Mumbai whereas anika was dreading the thought of going back.

Few days later: at the airport, Mumbai.

"anika di chaliye na, vo rahi gadi jo humein lene aayi hai gauri pulls at anika's hand because anika was walking at a snail's pace. As anika looks at the car, she was filled with so many emotions, "shivaay ne... apni car...bheji hai? she says to herself but gauri hears her. "shivaay? Aap jaanti hain unhe? gauri asks, curious.

At this question, anika remembers the first time that they met, when she broke his car's windshield or threw cow dung on him. Anika let out a short laugh at the memories. "nahi she answers gauri and sits in the car, gauri follows her as the driver puts their luggage in the back.

In no time, they reach the oberoi mansion. Anika was lost; she was overwhelmed to be back here. Everything that happened between them was playing like a film in front of her eyes. Taking slow steps she entered the oberoi mansion, gauri was following closely behind her, never having seen such an enormous house.

Suddenly, anika stops at the front door, remembering when she had entered this place as wife of Shivaay Singh Oberoi. Not realising that anika had stopped, gauri was about to cross the threshold when a voice stopped her. "waits, gauri looked at the person- woman- coming towards them and then looked at anika as the woman came close to them.

"pinky aunty, anika whispered and again gauri was confused about how anika knows this woman. Pinky was still the same, looking exactly the way she was a year ago. "apne rights legs se enters karo, she told them with a stern tone and again anika was reminded with her past as she and gauri both, put forward their right leg past the threshold to enter in the house.

Emotional, anika couldn't stop herself as she was already bending down to touch pinky's feet for blessings. "long lives, pinky said in her broken English. Then pinky looks at gauri and eyes her, gauri quickly comes forward to touch pinky's feet and pinky blesses her too, "comes ins now, bahot works karna hai. Pinky had never been nice to her, and she wasn't even surprised to see anika at the door. Did they know she was coming? Wondering what was actually happening, anika followed pinky.

Anika and gauri both were looking around but anika only saw herself with the family members, the memories all around the house and she felt tears threatening to spill out, whereas gauri only looked in amazement, being an orphan, she had never been to a home that looked like a palace.

They came to the sitting area where they saw dadi and jhanvi sitting with many sarees put on display for them to choose from, the seller showing them more. "anika, dadi smiles happily as she gets up and moves towards anika. It was too much for anika and she starts crying as she meets dadi halfway and hugs her, "puttar, kahan chali gayi thi tu, dadi asks and breaks the hug. "I am sorry dadi, par mera jana zaruri tha anika says and tears keep flowing. Dadi wipes her tears away and kissed her forehead, deciding to let it go "tu yahan aa, baith mere saath, dadi takes anika with her to sit and anika takes jhanvi's blessings "I missed you so much anika. Tumhare bina toh iss ghar mei bahot khali pan aa gaya tha, atleast tum rudra ki shaadi mei toh hogi jhanvi says as she hugs anika. They all sit down.

Gauri was now really confused, were they some long lost family? But anika di had told her that she was an orphan, just like her. Then how did they know her? They were talking as if anika di used to live here. What is it that anika never told her? Gauri stood awkwardly waiting for someone to notice her. Suddenly the mood had shifted for her, she didn't feel so excited now but she felt cheated. She had thought she had no one in this world and then she met anika, just like her, anika had no one so they had each other but now it seemed like anika had a huge family about which she had lied to her.

Gauri feels her eyes pricking with tears and turns to leave when anika stops her, "gauri! anika gets up and holds gauri by her shoulders, she turns gauri to face her and gauri quickly wipes her tears away as she turns to look at anika. "kahan jaa rahi thi? Dadi ye gauri hai, meri behen anika introduces gauri to the oberoi ladies. "par tumhari toh koi family nahi thi anika, jhanvi asks confused. "jhanvi aunty, khoon ka rishta nahi hai humara par usse bhi badhkar hai. Gauri mere liye meri choti behen jaisi hai saying this she hugs gauri.

"Namaste dadi ji gauri says and bends down to take her blessing but dadi stops her and hugs her instead. "puttar tum dono baithkar saree pasand karo humare saath. Aakhir iss shaadi mei tum bhi toh shaamil hogi. Dadi insists and they sit down.

While all this was going on, shivaay had known the moment anika entered the Oberoi Mansion. He stood by the stairs all the while she interacted with his family and his brothers were also behind him. Anika wasn't alone, she had a girl with her and if not anyone, rudra was very interested to know who the girl was.

"I missed you so much anika, par ab tum aa gayi ho na, main tumhe kahin nahin jaane dunga shivaay thought to himself, happy that finally the wait was over. Now, only if their plan could go accordingly, they had hope of getting anika to stay here permanently as Mrs SSO.

They patiently waited to see what happened next as they noticed the girl turn around and started to leave but anika stopped her. Shivaay's focus wasn't really on her, it was om who looked closely as she wiped her cheeks as if she had been crying. "bhaiya chalo na anika bhabhi se milte hain, chup chup ke kab tak dekhte rahoge rudra says as he pushes shivaay forward and om just follows them.

"good morning dadi, anika froze and stopped what she was doing. She had completely forgotten what she was here for, this wasn't some family reunion, she was here to work. Slowly she found the courage to look at his face, worried of what she was going to see, anger? Surprise? Disgust? She looked up at him, bracing herself for his passive expression but to her surprise he was smiling, more like trying not to smile.

"anika shivaay says and it's like no one else is around them and just the two of them "shivaay anika whispered his name without even realising that she said it. Gauri looked around to see everyone quiet and looking at them, she sees a man next to her who was smiling goofily. "inki kahaani kya hai she asks as she pokes his biceps to get his attention. It was rudra, he leans down to gauri's level and whispers, "vo kahaani toh bahot lambi hai, abhi break ke baad ki kahaani dekho, I hope inki kahaani fir se shuru ho jaye rudra says but gauri remains equal amouts of confused as she was before, if not more. "vaise aap kon? rudra asks. "hum? Gauri kumari sarma, gauri introduced herself.

"Let's go, I need to talk to you shivaay says and gauri diverts her attention back to them. "kahiye anika says as she stood her arms crossed on her chest. "yahan nahi anika shivaay insists. "yahan kyun nahi aapko rudra ki shaadi ke baare mein baat karni hai na toh yahin kahiye, sabke saamne. Anika says not listening to him so shivaay took a step towards her and his hand moved to grab her wrist when anika moves a step back and puts up a finger to stop him.

"Mr. Shivaay Singh Oberoi, main yahan kaam karne aayi hun aur usi baare mein baat karna chahti hun aur kuch nahi. Anika finishes and observes him as his jaw twitches; he was showing signs of anger. Before he could say anything om interferes, "anika? anika looks at him and he smiles at her. They hug and exchange greetings but gauri who stood beside rudra was mesmerised by the man who hugged her sister, she wondered who he was because his smile was beautiful, like she could forget all the sorrows life has given her.

Om turns to look towards her and her breath hitches as their eyes connect but he looks beside her, where the other man was standing. "rudra? om calls him and anika also turns to see him. "anika di rudra squeals and reaches anika to envelop her in a tight hug.

" kaise ho tum rudy? anika asks as she hugs him back, but never gives him time to answer, she hits him on his shoulder, "aur tum shaadi kisse kar rahe ho? Nahi... tum shaadi kar kaise saqte ho? Tumhe ladkiyan ghumane se fursat mil gyi? anika asks all the questions in a breath. "haan ab o ko toh koi mil nahi rahi thi toh main kab tak wait karta, toh isiliye main aur saumya shaadi kar rahe hain. Abhi toh mai baccha hun, meri shaadi umar hi nahi hai. Ye sab shivaay bhaiya ki wajah se ho raha, he thought about saumya and shuddered with the thought of marrying her. Anika was shocked and surprised, " kya? Saumya? anika shouted in excitement.

"haan anika di, rudy said cheekily. "saumya ki bacchii, usne mujhe bataya kyun nahi anika said and then looked at gauri. "ye gauri hai "haan haan, humari jaan pehchaan toh ho chuki hai rudra explained.

"anika puttar, tum dono guest room mein chale jao. Rudy jaa aur inhe kamre tak chodh de dadi says to them and they leave. Shivaay stays behind as he didn't know what to do anymore, be angry or be happy.

Anika and gauri both settled in the room and relaxed. Their team was going to arrive tomorrow but they would be starting work with the oberoi staff today.

Few hours later

"ek jhaanp mei diwaar pe sata denge haan ni toh, kya paresaani hai aapki? Yeh Mumbai mei kya phool sone ke hote hain jo itne mehenge bata rahe ho... gauri was shouting on the phone. Anika and gauri had started decorating the mansion and were ordering necessary things needed like lights and flowers and other decorating items.

Anika saw gauri and sighed, knowing gauri will handle it her way. "humne ek baar commitment kar di na toh hum apne aap ki bhi nahi sunte toh aap ka cheej hain? Agar humari samajh nahi aa rahi toh hum kahin aur se phool manga lenge gauri again yelled at the flower vendor. He was telling too much price for flowers and wasn't listening to gauri. Gauri was already very frustrated and angry that anika never told her she had a family and she just wasn't able to tackle people calmly.

Anika did realise that something was wrong with gauri but she decided to talk later. Anika was putting up flowers in a vase when Om approached her and they watched as Rudra approached gauri as she cut the call. "relax female chulbul pandey, kya hua?

"kuch nahi gauri says not really in mood to talk to anyone, "yahan pe phoolon ke daam aise aasman mei hain jaise hum phool nahi sona khareed rahe hon she huffs but then shrugs and looks at rudra and smiles. "aapko shaadi ki bahot bahot badhaai and rudy looks confused "shaadi?kiski shaadi? om's eyes widen as he realises rudra was going to ruin the plan, he quickly moves to reach rudra as he notices anika also looking at them suspiciously as she follows him. "she means congratulations rudra, teri aur saumya ki shaadi ke liye om says as he hits him on his shoulder. He smiles with tight lips and glaring eyes telling him to remember that he is going to get married. "oh haan main toh bhool hi gaya tha, thank you rudra says as he laughs and everybody else laughs with him. "mandap mei aana mat bhool jana rudra anika says as she pinches his cheeks and they all continue laughing and talking.

Shivaay was busy with work in his room but couldn't concentrate; he could hear anika's voice and his brothers having fun. Slamming the files shut he went downstairs where they all were.

Shivaay sees anika and holds her wrist to take her away but anika shrugs out of his hold. Shivaay tries many times to come close to anika and found ways to touch her but every time anika would move away or glare at him. Even though he was frustrated by this behaviour of hers, he didn't shout at her but he really wanted to. His patience was running thin as anika managed to evade him yet again. "anika! shivaay yelled and anika stopped. OmRu and gauri also looked at them.

"bahot ho gaya, chalo mere saath but before shivaay could touch her, gauri stood before anika and held shivaay's hand. "hum bahot der se dekh rahe hain aapko. Di aapse baat nahi karna chahti isliye agar aapne unhe haath lagaya toh ek jhaanp mei diwaar pe sata denge haan ni toh saying this gauri leaves his hand but no one speaks up. Everyone too stunned by gauri's performance to say anything

Shivaay's anger shot up and he took a step towards gauri but naika stopped him, "shivaay! he looks at anika and stops, rolling his eyes in exasperation, he leaves from there.

"bhaiya yeh gauri toh bhabhi ki body guard nikli rudra joked. "uske hote hue aap bhabhi ke aap paas ki hawa bhi nhi choo saqte rudra laughs.

"shut up rudra om says as he moves closer to where shivaay is standing. Shivaay's eyes widens on seeing om , "om tu gauri ko anika se door rakh shivaay suggests and om looks at him disbelievingly. "main aisa kuch nahi karunga, vaise bhi main use kya baat karunga? You know mujhe jhut bolna pasand nahi haiom denies.

"haan haan mere satyawadi harishchandra, jhut mat bolna bas use busy rakhna shivaay says and pats his back as he goes back to his room.

Gauri and anika were back in their room. Gauri stood by the window asanika also comesto join her. "shivaay mere pati the anika says and stops to see if gauri would say anything, She didn't. gauri didn't want to interrupt even if this was a shock to her. "humari shaadi majboori mei hui thi aur fir .. gauri listens as anika explains everyhthing to her. "mujhe jana pada gauri, iss ghar mein meri koi jagah nahi thi. Bahar walon ko toh aaj tak nahi pata ki main Mrs Anika Shivaay Singh Oberoi thi.

Gauri didn't say anything but asked the one question she wanted to know the answer to, "aapne kyun choda iss ghar ko, yahan sab kitne acche hain.

Anika smiles and ansers her, " yahan sab ke liye naam, khoon, khandaan bahot zaruri hai gauri. Humare jaise anarth logon ke liye jagah nahi hai yahan. Shivaay bahot acche hain par shayad jo unhone mere saath kiya, uske guilt ki vajah se vo mere saath the. Main sabko ek mauka dena chahti thi. Pinky aunty ko apni bahu chunne ka mauka dena chahti thi. Anika sighs. "main shivaay ke saath rehna chahti thi par apni marzi se, unki marzi se, sirf isliye nahi ki shaadi ho gayi thi aur Oberoi khandaan mei divorce nahi hote anika finished.

"toh aap unse baat kyun nahi karti, sab thik ho jayega, aap fir se shaadi kar saqti hai unse gauri suggested. "pata nahi, ab yeh sab chodh, bahar chalet hain bahot kaam hai. Paro se functions shuru ho jaenge and saying this anika never really answered her question.
