I am ecstatic today. One of the scenes which was forever on my wishlist happened today!!!! IT DID!!! They took Naina's dupatta over their heads!!!! More on that later. Before I begin, a confession. I am still not over Monday's NaiRan scene. I know, I know, I wrote a lamba chauda post about it on Monday only and gushed about it acche se, I have watched that scene countless times by now, but still. Karan's "Tumhara naam le sakta hoon?" and his husky "Naina" just gives me goosebumps every single time. And the CVs don't help. Its not as if I was over it in the first place and then Karan said it again in yesterday's episode. What's a girl got to do?𤣠I'll talk about that as well but as always, let me go in order so that I can write a coherent post. đ
Pehle toh, the bromance is finally happening!! I have waited for this so long and it is so endearing to see. Kunal is now the elder brother he was always meant to be. The entire sequence of him explaining why he was giving everything to Karan was beautiful. I loved when he said that he is nobody to give anything to Karan but he wants to give Karan opportunities Karan never got. And the whole "Tu mujhe batayega ki tera kya adhikaar hai" when Karan was protesting was absolute love. His scene with Maasi ma was so good. I loved it when he said that its no sacrifice if he is giving it to his brother. And even after that, the way he has been motivating Karan is amazing. I will confess, the first time I heard about this business giving thing, I was slightly skeptical because I thought Karan would go ahead with his music and stuff but later I realized that there were reasons for this. One is that Karan needed this, in the sense that he needed to know that he is capable of doing this as well. Whether or not he chooses to do this later is a different question but I think they want to make sure that he realizes that it should be a choice and not a compulsion driven from the belief that he cannot work in office. Two is that maybe this will have a bearing on the future track. Lets see.
NK and Sandhya are too funny man. Sandhya toh anyway is giving looks like uski duniya ujad rahi hai. And both of them are going on predicting doomsday like anything. Bhai, Bharat Industries is clearly a group of companies with a huge turnover etc etc. Their organic foods thing is just one of their companies which they recently set up. Why on earth are they behaving as if Karan is going to dubaofy their entire business because of which they will go bankrupt and will have to live on the streets? Matlab seriously.đ
The sisters though have finally discussed that Sandhya is upto no good. I thought this scene was also very cute. No I have not gone mad. Its just that it was such a typical Meghna Naina scene, with Meghna getting angry on Naina's behalf and Naina calming her down. I swear these two have been doing this all their lives. Its very cute!
NK obviously has to create drama before Karan can go to office so he wants to ring the ghanti. Karan can't take the sound and wants to leave but Naina is firm. "Meri aakhon mein dekho Karan. Apna mantra bolo." And Karan starts his "Naina" in that tone again. That tone which conveys the depth of his feeling for her. Uff, never getting over this. But somebody needs to clear one thing for me. NK said that they had 14 days left. Then dadaji says Teej is in 12 days. Then NK says that 15 days will get over on Teej. Huh? How? Ye kaisi Maths hai? Kuch bhi. đ
And now, today's scene. Karan and Naina go to office but he doesn't want to go in. She says they will just go in and drink tea. I loved this. Naina knew it was a big thing for him to come to office. So she let him take baby steps but took a promise that he will work from tomorrow. And it works in some ways na. Karan properly answered his father for the first time today. In full coherent sentences without stammering. I have said this countless times and I will say this again, she just gets him like no one else does.
Some people make fun of Karan's chaata. Naina asks him not to pay attention to them but brings up the issue with him herself. It was a beautiful scene. Naina realizes that Karan uses his umbrella not only for protection but as a manifestation of his weakness and inability. So he needs to let go of it to move forward. He says he has never moved anywhere without it. "Aur main? Maina tumse kaha hai Karan ki main har raaste pe tumhare saath chalungi. Par humare beech ki ye deewar tumhe hi hatani hogi. Raaste mein chaaon mil bhi jaegi, par aage badne ke liye chaaon se nikalna padega. Kya hum zindagi ki dhoop ka saamna saath milkar nahi kar sakte?" Karan heard her, looked into her eyes, got his confidence and finally let go of the chaata (In a rather dramatic fashion, I have to sayđ). Another reason why this conversation was so beautiful was Naina's words. If you remember, when she used to motivate him earlier, it used to always be tum kar sakte ho, tum aage badho, tum apne aap pe bharosa karo. Now, it is hum saath chalenge, hum karenge, hum kar sakte hain. Small words, but big difference na? Their feelings seriously have changed so much.
Then comes my wishlist vala scene. They are walking and suddenly there is harsh sunlight. Naina gives him her dupatta and both of them keep it over their heads like a protection. THIS HAS BEEN ON MY WISHLIST SINCE FOREVER!!! This scene conveys so much beauty that its amazing. It shows that when he does need protection from the sun, Naina will always be there for him. But as today, they will put the dupatta over both their heads and that means he will never be alone in it, will never be the odd one out. They will take it all together, as they plan to with everything in their lives. Truly a beautiful moment! â¤ď¸
Talking about Teej, Nk had said they need to see if Naina will get her Karan on that day. Such a misconception. Naina and Karan have already got each other. They were always meant to be. And now that they have found each other, they will not let go. â¤ď¸
