This week, in Saturday's episode , through Hahuma's divya drishti , we saw a sneak peek into the first meet of the protagonists. The brave Aryan warrior Varun dev and fierce princess Devasena. Two people who are so different from each other , yet so alike. Both strong, fearless , beautiful , fiercely loyal to their own clans and can go to any lengths to protect their people.Both have strong sets of fixed principles and beliefs ingrained into their very being through their birth and upbringing.
We didn't miss the fleeting look of desire and attraction in Varundev's eyes when his eyes fell upon the dusky beauty sitting proudly on top of elephant , looking radiant and exotic .
But the spell binding moment of organic attraction didn't last long as his sharp eyes gauzed the situation and noted the look of hostility on Devasena's face . All softness disappeared from his face , and eyes took a steely gaze as he realized that this must be the Dravidian princess , his nemesis.
Devasena was amazed to see this young Aryan warrior and then determined to teach this trespasser a lesson for entering their lands and daring to dream to occupy it.
As she picked up the axe in her hand , Varundev's face contorted with fury and he also unsheathed the sword , both now eager to proceed and strike each other.
To kill each other.
As they both moved swiftly like wind , after a pause of calculation where both of them gave each other the "death glare " , one standing upon the elephant and another upon the horse.
As their weapons clashed with each other , so did their lives , so did their fates.
Because no matter how different they are , they are also perfect for each other. In more ways than one, they complete each other. Fire (Devasena ) and ice ( Varundev ). Yin and Yang.
Their destinies are entwined.
May be they'll have a incomplete love story. Going by Hahuma's prediction they might even end up killing each other.
And that is as intriguing , as spell bounding , as it is heart breaking.
For they're each other's soul mates , who are also destined to destroy each other.
It's hardly fair , but then any thing is fair in love and war and this is both !
