The answer is very simple, she is Sunil Shetty's daughter and Sunil requested his friend Salman to cast her on the movie that Salman produced, surprise to know that u didn't know this simple answer.

She lacks it in some areas... poor facial expressions or "presence" ?? She can dance well and all but lacks a "presence" IMO 😆. I'm not talking about her traditionally "unattractive" face, any face can start looking attractive when the attitude/aura is right, IMO. 😊
