The songs in Shri Krishna arevery good too.

However, Om Namah Shivay, by another production house, also have very good songs. 😃

I really liked the song which was played in the background in 23 Jan episode to describe how the three queens are looking after the kids. I am translating below the lines, which I find very meaningful: -

They are giving auspicious bath to the One Who is full of auspiciousness and gets rid of inauspiciousness.

They are looking after the One Who looks after the entire creation.

They are writing Om on the tongue of the One Who resides in Om.

They are feeding prasad to the One Whose prasad is desired by everybody.

Yes Krishna serial had excellent lyrics and music too... again Ravindra Jain deserves the credit. He's simply brilliant with his words.

Songs from the earlier Ramayan that I would like to see in new serial are :
1. the entire pushp-vaatika score when Ram first meets Sita
2. Vidhana tere lekha kisi ko samajha na aate hai (the Vanvaas song)
3. The song that introduces Raavan - Lankeshwara he Raajeshawara, he Dashaanana
4. Bhatrata sama nahi duja koi tyaagi (when Bharat returns to Ayodhya with the paaduka and rules on behalf of Ram
5. Har koi he yahaan basa nithura niyati ke haatho ka khilonaa
6. The coronation song - Rama darabaar hai jaga saaraa
