Hi guys,

Since this excuse that Sanam is a dancer keep circulating in the forum with people saying that a dancer/a choreographer should not have participated, can someone please explain to me how come Sanam got in if that's not allowed according to some people?

Also, can someone please show me the rules and regulations of Nach Baliye saying trained dancers can't participate?

I would love to see that.

PS: Constructive debates please

Sanjeeda and Ritvik do dance apart from their regular work. Sanam just does dance. How do you expect people to match up to him as that's what he does for a living. Nach baliye should ban pure dancers to come and participate on the show. Sanam can go and judge not just come do little hard work and win trophies. That's not fair!

NB should ban pure dancers but did they? NO. So why are you having an issue with it when other contestants are cool about it?

Bold: Sanam did put a lot of hardwork, even Deepika made a video, saying that they used to dance for 10+ hours everyday so please saying that Sanam gets away with little effort is irrelevant.
In Jhalak even choregraphers work hard, just because they are good with it doesnt mean they sit there and do not work hard.
There is an IV where Abi was saying that she has body ache and even sanam said that, even if he is dancing for so many years, he has sweet muscle pains too.

And better not talk about fairness, I don't even want to mention how 'unfair' is it when other contestants have such huge fan following.

Besides, it's nach baliye not NON dancer baliye

When they ban voting to prevent popularity from coming into play (and ensure judges judge fairly based on dance and not TRPs), they can ban pure dancers too. Till then, people should stop complaining that Sabigail has the advantage of trained dancer (which can be a clear disadvantage if Abigail hadn't worked hard) when Monaya and Divek have the advantage of popularity, more industry connections and thus, more votes.

Honestly i was just a silent reader in this forum but my favs were always sanam and abi...and i dont understand this unfair rant and this non dancer thing..bcoz if someone had to work hard the most...it was abigail bcoz she had to MATCH SANAM...u know thats what i like most about abi and sanam ..they didn't not cry the entire season that how abi is NONDANCER ..and how hard it is for a non dancer to dance...evn mohit learned dancing here but he had to match sanaya(who isnt a very great dancer herself..she is good but not like the best or something)..so honestly for me if someone journey was hardest it was abinam for me..and on the top of it judges were extra strict to them...and inspite of all this...they were fantastic throughout the entire season...i really hope i made what i wanted to say clear..m not to good in explaining things..but yeah really hope Sanam and Abi will take the trophy home

There are no such rules, the channel makes the rules so I am sure they knew what they are doing.

Nach Baliye is a dance competition, the only requirement is to have a baliye.
There is no written rule that a dancer cannot enter the competition. In fact, there is no such rule for competitions in general.

Firstly Sanam is a dancer, but he is not an established choreographer like let's say Remo. He is still an amateur who is learning, who wants exposure and a chance to accelerate his career. Nach Baliye approached him, I don't see why he would deny such an opportunity.

Example: A writer who has been writing for many years, has dabbled with different genres doesn't get disqualified from a writing competition. In a competition, no one sees who has the upper or lower hand. An amateur, non-writer who participates in such a competition for the first time, and has talent can win the competition too.
In life, no one tells you to not compete with the best because you will fail. Or they don't ask the best to step down so that they can let someone else succeed.

If someone is touted as the best dancer on a show, no one cares if they have prior experience or not. Competitions don't work on charity.
Even in an economy, markets cannot work on perfection competition.

Coming to hard work. There is no actual way to measure hard work, we cannot say someone works harder, or someone works less hard. How do we measure that? What's the scientific backing to establish that as a fact? It is all subjective, it is just an opinion.

We cannot say someone like Satya Nadella works less hard because he is accelerated in his career, has years of experience in comparison to someone who is a newbie starting out in the technology business.

Or say Elon Musk has it easier than those who work at NASA.

There is no definite measure of hard work.
