Popular Star Plus serial Ishqbaaz recently took a small leap/lapse of 3 months after the painful and emotional drama of Shivaay (Nakuul Mehta) and Anika's (Surbhi Chandna) separation. It was a stretched track where Anika was seen falling prey to Pinky's plan to get thrown out of Shivaay's life.
Shivaay and Anika go through a tremendous emotional turmoil, Shivaay chooses to hide it, while Anika cannot hide it. The news of leap/lapse in Ishqbaaz has been making rounds for a long time now and as portrayed by producer Gul Khan, the post leap storyline of Ishqbaaz would be a Khidkitod story. Gul Khan has specially put an emphasis on Shivaay and Anika's meet. The promo of post leap Ishqbaaz story too looks much impressive. However, the first episode post time lapse was sadly much dapper.
The episode of opened with the track of Omkara (Kunal Jaisingh) being in the Coma. Tej decides to stop Omkara's treatment while Shivaay opposes Tej. However, Shivaay's arguments had no strength. Tej taunts Shivaay that Shivaay has forgotten to live his life post Anika's departure from his life, to this Shivaay turns a Playboy and rides away on his bike. In fact, the Shivaay just after his separation with Anika looked much more promising than the Shivaay after the leap. On the other side, Anika looked guilt-stricken and emotional.
Samar (Ankit Raj) and Ragini's (Additi Gupta) entries added no excitement or flavor in the episode. In the nutshell, the first episode of Ishqbaaz post the lapse was a boring matter. But we are sure that Gul Khan would change this boredom in excitement soon with Shivaay and Anika's Tadibaazi and Tashan, once they meet again. Loyal fans of Ishqbaaz are waiting to see their Shivika reunited with much more drama, passion and excitement, hopefully, the makers will keep up to the fans' expectations.
