First to clarify it's a genuine question that popped up in my mind. Not to bash, not to complain. Just curiosity.

Matin is from Arunachal Pradesh. They could have taken a NE indian actress instead of Zhu Zhu who is chinese.

I was thinking she would be playing a chinese character but from trailers and sneak peeks I am assuming she is playing Indian ( ! 😕 )...or is she and Matin playing chinese?

If she is playing a chinese woman then it's, of course, totally fine.

She is playing chinese gal character, kabir kept it real & cast her.

As JC also said once, we have seen miscast - Chandni Chowk to China - DP playing chinese gal, which was trashed... this time real one.

I think both are Chinese characters and maybe Martin is playing her son or younger brother 😕

So she somehow crosses border and enter India. Is Matin playing her son?

Hey I understand what you mean. I am sorry if you felt offended. But as I said I was not sure if she is playing an Indian, NE to be precise or chinese, hence asked the question.

Her character is Chinese but with Indian roots and Matin plays her son . A Chinese kid of his age can't learn Hindi quickly

She is playing a Chinese lady and kid is her son. War with China is on and people are not taking kindly towards this Chinese lady in their village.

But Simple Salman with his golden heart has yakeen that his brother Sohail will come back from war alive. And for this he has to be good to everyone. SO he's on Chinese lady side when everyone is against.
