Life doesn't give any of us the second chance when we wanted and that too in the same way we presume. But it surely gives a chance which makes us feel to achieve that one thing which we lost.

This is not a story of a girl who sacrificed her love for the sake of her husband's happiness but this is a fairy tale where the leads fought with the inner demons so that they can be one.

I Sahil Chaturvedi pens down one of the iconic couples whom I love so much and they are Shivaay and Annika, in short, "SHIVIKA".

Those were days when I was leaving to picnic and SSO came near me and said a final goodbye. The post he left, Annika didi came and told me from today onwards I'm not a student of "City International School" and I should go back to my old school.

I was shocked, but I knew something terribly wrong happened with Annika Didi, as her eyes are not shining, in fact, they are dead.

I didn't question anything, I looked back at my friends and started another new journey with my Annika Didi.

I'm shocked to see we both are in Chanda's house. Why? No answer. But it's time to question her, if not she will break. That's where I questioned her what actually happened between her and SSO. She did not reply me back. She told it is not necessary to know. But that night, I have once again seen her enduring the same nightmares, which she haven't from a couple of months.

That night, I learned something, from now I should act as big brother of Annika Didi, not as her Saahil. The next morning was nothing new for me, but for Annika Didi, it is!

Because we are back to square one. She need work to make sure I'm fine. Annika Didi is a strong woman, mentally and emotionally too, but we need to vacate Chanda's place as her mother don't like us.

I'm here worried for her as I don't know whether she will be getting a job or not? But when she came, she is back in a car which is much more expensive than what SSO uses. I have only seen those cars in movies never on roads.

At the same time, with her, there is a person who is six feet tall, strict face and staring at me. I don't know why, I felt attached towards him, which I never felt even for SSO too. Yeah, I do now, but not initially.

When I thought about SSO, let me say you one thing, this six feet tall also possess "Cat eyes", yes the same eyes which makes Annika Didi weak and break.

Annika Didi came to me and said, we are leaving with him and I did not understand anything because I have my own set of questions.

She understood me and said, "Sahil...I'm Annika Raichand".

I'm not writing this story for likes or comments, I just want to pen down my own version and feelings. I want to pour the emotional pain which unknowingly I'm going through.

Part 2:

Shocked? Isn't? Me too...How come Annika Didi became Annika Raichand. Now my only fear is whether her family will accept me or not.

When I'm in own puzzled stated, the six feet tall man kneeled before me and introduced himself as...Viraj...Viraj Scindia.

Now, who is Viraj Scindia? He is the most eligible bachelor in the world and also the Manging Director of the Raichand Empire for which Annika Didi is the heiress and also the CEO.

Coming to him, he is very difficult person to handle, as he hates flowers and sweets, he hates smiling faces, he is always strict and anger on heights. Most important quality of him is he hates women...yes he does, and he loves only two women in his life, one is his mother Maya Scindia and next is my sister Annika. Why he loves Annika Didi, we will reveal in the coming chapters.

So back to the story...he kneeled down before me and said from today onwards I will be staying with them in Raichand Mansion which is world's biggest house and also will be attending to the Raichand School, which is not everyone's cup of tea to get admission there.

Annika Didi just took her phone and me with my school bag left Chanda's home. From the moment car started, Annika Didi is nervous and she is acting bravely only for my sake.

Viraj Scindia is just looking at her, and I'm looking into his eyes. Somehow his eyes speak volumes and I don't know why I'm trusting him.

By the time I put a full stop to my thoughts we reached the Raichand Mansion and you people also give a look,

This is the main entrance of the house. I and Annika did are just gaping at the house and Viraj says: "Behave like Raichand's".

Now, this taunt makes Annika Didi get to mock him also: "Try to give respect to the people, and most importantly who are trying to rebuild their lives".

Viraj: "Rebuild? Are you sure? Because you are the one, who crushed your own dreams just because her ex-mother-in-law asked?

Now, they both forgotten that I'm also present there. In entire conversation, one thing caught my attention, that is the word "Ex". Now what this says, Annika Didi and SSO are no more together? Why? What did Pinky aunty do this time?

Oh god, so many questions and no one is there to answer. By the time I come out of them, I saw a person coming down from the stairs and calling Annika Didi as "Betijaan".

Now, who is he? He is Rahim Chacha, caretaker of the Raichand Mansion. He knelt before I and said from today onwards this is my home where I should start my new journey.

What everyone doesn't notice is my new journey started but this time it is much divergent from last time. I don't know where it leads because, before I step into the house, Viraj said, from now onwards I will be known as "Sahil Rajnath Raichand", not as "Sahil Chaturvedi".

Part 3:

What? I'm Sahil Rajnath Raichand...but why? Why I should change my name. I stopped on stairs and thinking and that's when Viraaj said: "Annika got the custody of yours and she is the daughter of Rajnath Raichand, and now you belong to her, you are adopted by Mr. Raichand and from now he is your foster father."

Who is Rajnath Raichand? Well, he is the world famous businessman and also the founder of Raichand Empire. He lost his daughter when she was nine and now Annika Didi is his daughter.

One thing should always know about him is, he has only one weakness which is his daughter, he loves Annika Didi to the core and yes, he loves me too. He can do anything for her. Anything means anything.

Well, I was shocked when I learned I will be his son and taking steps towards the door with Annika Didi.

I do not understand what all these sudden changes? Till yesterday she was known as the wife of Shivaay Singh Oberoi and now she is being known as the daughter of Rajnath Raichand.

When we entered the house, I was shocked to see the interiors of the house as I have never seen them.

Within few minutes, we saw a person coming down and I can say he is the lawyer seeing his black coat. And he is Mr. Roy. The famous criminal and civil lawyer and family lawyer of Raichands. He said Mr. Raichand is waiting for both of us.

I can see Annika Didi is on the verge of breaking and before I hold her, I saw Viraj holding her and comforting her. I don't know why but I pulled out my hands and started to follow them. I can see the way she is crying but I'm not getting the whole story.

When we entered his study room, it was as luxurious as the rest of the house.

One thing shocked me to the core was he came near me first and hugged and said: "Welcome home Son". In my whole life, I never felt such warmth from an unknown person. He made me sit on the couch and turned towards Annika Didi and hugged her saying: "Thank you so much for accepting, I never know what I would be doing with you, my dear Anni. And from today onwards you are the CEO of the Raichand Empire and Viraj will guide you. Go rest dear, will talk everything tonight, post dinner."

Why all are saying thanks to Annika Didi as if she is doing some sort of help by being their daughter but not their real daughter. What do they know about her actually? How did they find her? And why he is greeting me with such love?

Don't know how many more shocks I will be getting in this Raichand Mansion.

Viraj said he will first drop Annika Didi to her room and as usual, I'm following them.

When I saw her side of the part, I'm completely speechless.

I felt so happy to see my sister's life with all luxuries but still, she is not happy. How come she be? Her life is no more with her.

Viraj: Annika, whatever happens in life, one should be strong for the people who is part of their lives. Until today, only Sahil was the one. Now you have Baba, Rahim Chacha, Sahil, Mom and also ...

They both share an eye lock which was absolute with a lot of pain and that's when Viraj said he will show my room.

I'm very slow in walking and that's when he picked in his arms and said "Sahil, I know you know have many doubts but let me tell you one thing, from now onwards you are not only alone to take care of your Annika Didi but also we all there. So you can be just her Sahil, not her big brother."

I was shocked when he said those words. How come he read my mind? Does he know how to read the minds?

He chucked seeing my facial expressions and said: " I have gone through same pain many years back and I know how it feels. So don't worry, will make sure Annika start smiling again."

Look here is your room he says and I'm done with one more shock of my life: that is my room.

Now, I can understand onething, they know much about me and Annika Didi but we don't know anything about them. I don't know how much Annika Didi knows, but I'm in bewilder position. Don't know whether to trust or not and in that situation I switch on the television and the news made me to breakdown because:

"Shivaay Singh Oberoi in critical condition due to heart stroke".

Part 4:

I couldn't stop myself running towards Annika Didi, as I know she must have seen the news and completely shattered, but by the time I reached there, I saw a completely new thing to my eyes.

That is, she already broke down and the Viraj Scindia is taking care of her, just like how SSO use to do.

Now I'm not understanding a bit too, how come Annika Didi be so comfortable with this man whom she met today or may be known from a couple of days and that too when she learned SSO is in critical condition.

I have seen her running towards the car and asked the driver to go to the hospital. Though she left, I followed Viraj in his car towards the hospital.

When she entered the hospital Omkaara and Rudy were the ones who hugged her and cried, I can see them pouring all their pain to Annika Didi, and then they hugged me and comforting.

What was a shock for me is, Viraaj is hiding from Oberoi's, why? for what? Now I cannot ask him...I thought to question him later and meanwhile, Annika Didi entered into the ICU where SSO was lied down. I can hear each and every word, she is saying but no idea whether he listening to it or not?

Annika: How come you leave your Annika like this? I know I have hurt you beyond the limit and you have all rights to hurt me, but please don't get hurt yourself.

Hate me with all heart you have Shivaay but don't crumble, please. I left you because I know, once you get to know about who you really are? You cannot sustain. Either I should kill you by telling the truth or break you by betraying and I chose the latter one.

Hate as you as you can, move on in your life but don't try to hurt yourself as I cannot the see the great wall of Shivaay getting shattered.

Remember one thing Shivaay, no matter what, I belong to only you, only you...

She kissed him on his forehead, eyelids and finally his heart.

Listening to these words I understood, Annika Didi parted from SSO because of his own good and to make sure he lives with his own beliefs, but I don't understand why she is feeling she is not perfect for him? Why these both unable to fight with their inner conflicts?

Well, only time can let them know, why they actually called as the iconic couple "Shivika" because they can fight for each other's well-being which no other can do.

I can see Omkara and Rudy stopping her from going but once again she left their hands and started to move from their by holding me to herself.

By the time we reached the car, Viraj was once again back to her side who is totally comforting her. I really need to have a man-to-man talk with Viraj to know why he is giving a shoulder to Annika Didi to cry when he hates woman.

What so special he has seen in her? I need to know. We are heading back home but I can only see Viraj eyes are full of wet tears and too much of pain which he is also holding to.

And that's when I heard he saying:

"No matter what happens tomorrow Annika, I will be always on your side".
