Their relationship was standing only on Annikas strength and Annikas choice.
Annika very well proved that She is the maker and breaker here. Nothing more than this could prove how IN-character and Strong she is.
Living with Shivaay, weak, emotional, vulnerable, dependent was her Choice, her Choice to try this opportunity life gave her to be loved and pampered to have a man in life who "atleast" takes her as his responsibility.. she never asked more. This WAS her CHOICE. Her life her choice.
Therefore Leaving shivaay Is Her choice as well and what Way always remains her choice.
Yes, theres no argument in saying that Pinky Forced her.. Obviously she did. But TO BE FORCED was again HER CHOICE.
She could have easily let the truth Be spilled out or she could have easily herself disclosed the truth to Shivaay.. What would have happened at the most if she did that? She would have faced the beast, she would have been Yelled at, insulted, mocked. So? What was new? She is used to that .. Facing the Beast. Forget being used to.. she bloody fell in love with the beast. So exposing Truth was easy. Exposing Pinky was easy.
But SHE CHOSE to Be FORCED to Put up all this, Listen to Pinky
Why?
Because LOVE, Because HER SHIVAAY was at the receiving end of Pain.. Annika wouldn't have been affected a bit.. she has seen all this and even worse.. in her life. But Shivaay hasn't.
She CHOSE to Be a wall EVEN IN HER ABSENCE to protect Shivaay from the Wolf that this world is. She CHOSE to sacrifice the little She has to Keep him safe.. away from Pain, away from Deceit, away from the vultures like Mother Coming to Consume his Whole existence.. SHE CHOSE to LET HIM LIVE his life Because When YOU LOVE SOMEONE.. Nothing is important more than him..!
Now Coming to What Annika said !
Every word she said In last 4-5 episodes, every single letter she uttered was Nothing but TRUTH.
We all know Annika NEVER LIES. And She never HIDES ANYTHING from shivaay.
So there she is IN-CHARACTER telling the Family what she suffered and how she felt what a facade and Double standard people they are.
We have been Cursing Annika since Forever for NOT GIVING a ear-full to Shivaay and Not leaving Oberois and going. And now when she is.. we again Curse her. LOL.
This was needed. This confrontation.. her bringing out her experience in OM before leaving before Ending phase 1 because when Truth comes... Shivaay should know that Annika SUFFERED and she suffered NOT because HE WAS POWERFUL ENOUGH TO BREAK her BUT because SHE CHOSE TO bare the pain JUST TO LIVE WITH HIM.
Otherwise Shivaay will always live in his Tadi that He was The Man who Broke a woman of Steal.
This was Anikas way of making him realise in long term that MISTER.. NOBODY CAN BREAK ME... NOT EVEN GOD.
