Healthy discussions are welcome but please no bashing of shivaay or annika. I am shivika lover and love them both equally. For me both are equally responsible for separation. If annika gave it to Pinky blackmail then shivaay also ignored all the signs/truth. Took some lines from asya post too. Thank you Asya.
Sorry for the long rant but i need to grt these answers to clear my head i guess
It started from Mahi's drama, annika wanted to throw him immediately but he wanted to know the mastermind behibd it but he didn't even get to know that mahi was kameeni son and not related to ranveer. Then what information did he get from that. Probabky since mahi told he is najayaz so sso didn't feel need to check on him. But annika had to go thorugh so much. Then came NT matter, again annika wanted him to throw her right after knowing that truth but he wanted to know the mastermind behind. Again she had to go through emotional abuse from pinky but she agreed. Hr told her to be strong whatever the truth is but when she told him the truth, he dismissed it why bcoz his NKK mom can never do such things. He didnt even bother to give it a thought. When Om asked the right question that NT would bave got money through sahils kidnapping then why she came here. He ignored the question. Nt clearly pointed on annika that she is trying to separate shivaay from pinky but then also he didnt give a thought that why would NT say that? Someone would have definitely asked her to do right but he ignored it. In NT case annika got the point that whatever is the situation he will always believe his family over her no katter what. Then came prinku case. He just saw the video clip and yelled at her. Gauri can make out that door was still open when annika left but he didn't pay attention fully to clip once he saw annika. Later he said sorry that he knows she can't do it but then someone did it right to defame her but he didnt get to the root of it thaf who is trying to defame his wife. When she tried to say anything related to pinkg he asked her to stop. Then annika gave it to pinky demand. Jewellery scene, he knew that this is so not annika but rather than finding reason of her strange behaviour he was wondering that why didnt she returned to room.next day for property again he knew this is so not her but didn't go to her and asked her that whats wrong with her. She told truth to OmRu because they pushed her to tell them. They made a effort to know the reason behind her behaviour. I was expecting him to do the same. To understand that something is wrong with her. She told him that she knows his family completes him and he is nothing without his family and he said that till you are there no one can break it so she protected his family. I am very sure if she would have let pinky tell the truth then pinky would have twisted the truth for her own benefit or would have made other plan to hurt or throw annika and shivaay would have been blind to see his mothers deed because as he says maa pe ilzaam nhi lgate h so she did wgat pinkg asked her to. Made him hate so much that he himself throw her out.
She did a lot of things prior to today that have ensured and safeguarded the happiness of not only him but his Family as well. She took risks with her life not once but twice, selflessly, not wanting even praise in return, forget applause.
she was putting that important thing in jeopardy for the man who clearly could not even hear a word against his NKK (I mean his NKK family), no matter it was being said by the girl who almost died for him and this same Family twice (NT's scene about Pinky)
Annika knows that he needs to move on after she leaves because they are done and over with it at last, but you cannot really say the girl has not tried subtly through her body language, to give this man hints about her state of mind. She has given Shivvay many chances to fix this or at least investigate it but the man had and will choose to ignore it because it concerns his mother - his Family.
everyone upset that Daima's video was shown?? If you all claim that he was wronged by what she did then was she not wronged as well for him hiding it from her??

It was for this same video that Sahil and she were put through humiliation were they not??? So Om's humiliation cannot be borne (because he is a big boy and a grown man) but little Sahil should bear it for this grown man

What Annika did was wrong, she broke him. But it was necessary to go annika away from him so that they both will come as equals now in this relation. Till now there was not much take from annika side and she was taking Pinky emotional abuse from so long which was royally ignored by Shivaay and it would have continued for all life. SHivaay would have made her happy when he is with her but never would have he done anything for emotional abuse of his mother or may be wouldn't have even noticed that what is going on with his wife under his nose
DO you think if the same truth about Om would have told by Pinky or anyone else in family then he would have thrown them out? Pinky said so much harse words to Om Ru during Svet video and in many other occasions but did he throw her out? Pinky said so much disgusted things to annika, throwed her from hospital but did he say anything to Pinky for that?
Annika was insulted again and again, Pinky called her theif, compared with dog or what not in shitia sangeet but none of this family member could stop her. SHe was insulted being called as his mistress but none of the family member spoke anything. Everytime they wait for shivaay to speak why? Because he is the wall for them and all are depended on him so if he breaks (that wall breaks) then this family will break and it will break shivaay more so annika gave him his family.
