Yes, yes we are as excited as you are and we want to thank you for loving our writing, loving our Jambavati and extending your support to us throughout. And most importantly from now on, expect an update on weekends. Moving on straight to the update.
Jambavati's palm quivered as the tiny, miniature personification of life rested in her arms, carefree. Trying to feel the little one's hands, she realized that they were no larger than her thumb. Amazement began to bewilder her as smile lightened up her face. Cuddling his delicate cheeks and admiring his miniscule eyes for which the perception of vision still remained to be experienced, the eyes separated from the lower eyelashes in mutual agreement and she saw in them a glimpse of dwindling mischief. His soft lips that were a simile to rose-petals curled up in a subtle grin that was undistinguishable from his, her swami's and she glanced in awe. This was something out of the world, an embodiment of life, an ethereal emotion of priceless thronging in her heart.
"Rukmini jiji! She cried in all astonishment "Rukmini jiji, just look at him!" The further words refused to spell as she stood utterly surprised at him, losing herself in his deep, dark eyes.
Rukmini held the section of her soul now and she was almost pressurized to break into a smile as the striking resemblance got known to her. An identical reflection of her lord's,she would invariably agree.
"Give him to me!" Satyabhama demanded as a gush of excruciating sensations just flew past her.
And satyabhama, the Leeladhar's accomplice in all his wayward ventures was instantly able to mouth their thoughts off late.
"Arya!" She exclaimed "How much is he like you! I'm sure he would make a perfect substitute to all the fun we have together, possibly perfectly complimenting it!" She settled at a wink.
Jambavati shifted her stare to kanha ,who was by now , smiling as ever. He neither attempted to broaden it and it would surely have revolted against narrowing down. It was the very same smile she had gotten used to, the very same smile she had fallen in love with, the very same one she opined was her life elixir and she was fully capable of gazing at it like that forever and ever without wanting to let her exhausted eyelids relax even for a second just because they wouldn't feel tired at all.
As the tiny tot shifted to his arms, his mystical eyes stayed for a long time within his as he grabbed the infant's hands and clasped them together echoing whispered claps as the father in him tittered, another residual wonder for Jambavati as she hadn't possibly seen him giggle like that before.
"Jambavati!" His radiance this time meant pride"How fortunate you are to have held him first after his mother!"
Now,that was something that hadn't occurred to her yet! In the ecstasy that the baby had left her in, she had probably never bothered to divert herself to that line of thought and it was all fascinating. Her curiosity touched an entirely new note and and she was fascinated as disbelief created room for itself as well.
"Jambavati! What is going on in your mind? Tell us too!" Satyabhama questioned in an innocence that was far from being hers.
"Ermm, nothing!" She answered at last "My lord, what will we call him? "
"Pradyumna!" Two persons uttered together,a frequency that was cordially tuned in flawless resemblance and there was no doubt whatsoever that they were her swami and Rukmini jiji.
Rukmini got herself coloured in a nibble of crimson as the lord hurled words in explanation "That's a name we decided upon together!
"Why,that's beautiful! Concluded Satyabhama "Jiji, your son Pradyumna, our Pradyumna!"
"Jambavati, don't you have anything to say?" Krishna knew well how he had to coax her always to get words out on occasions as that. He knew she was someone whose words were priced as much as gold mines.
"I am just elated my lord, just feeling loved as ever!" And she stopped at that having nothing else to say, letting herself drift into the world that was his son, their son,her son. And all she could feel was love, a love that would make a mother do anything for her son. She could sacrifice herself if need be to see him smile, glance at his face displaying happiness as the only known horomonal outburst. All her love was now his, her care, her affection, her fear.her tension, all now had him for a focal point as they converged, befalling him until eternity. And there was nothing to be said ever more, neither in fancy words, nor sober ones because a mother's love stood inexplicable in any language the lord invented because he knew, well.
