For me, there is no question. It is definitely Devasena. Mastani is definitely out of the race for me. It was such a badly written role that I hated the character and had totally no pity for her. For me, Kashi- Bai was the real heroine of the movie. Though Jodha was really such a beautiful and regal princess, I wish there was more to her story rather than her love-hate relationship with Akbar. Devasena was the best written character of these characters. We got to see different shades of the character and she was fierce, bold and feminine at the same and fascinated me such that I was interested to find out more about her back story.

Acting wise, it is definitely Devasena too. Anushka is such a versatile actress and she pulled off the regal, bold and feminine nature of the character very well.
