For the hype that SRGMP and its produers are creating, from the above info, I feel that the ultimate winners may not get good reward for their musical struggle.

Always I was under the impression that the winners - Hero and Heroine will get a 2 bed room flat each apart from a luxury car (name not mentioned either!!).

Actually if you read through the last bullet point carefully, it dawns on us that these winners will only allowed to stay in those two-bedroom flats for a two-year period with all expenses paid. That is - they are not being awarded the flats as a prize!!! Am I reading wrong???

Compare this with Indian Idol. I think Sony provided a reward to the winner of Rs.1 crore worth of contracts with Sony Entertainment (or some such thing).

Don't you feel, for the hype generated, these talented winners will be under rewarded???

taikoo U are right.All hype.India's best winners are yet to get a break 😆 .here,zee comes with yet another promise of a house,car etc..house just for 2 years,after that? back to their original homes, 😆 then maruti car???

Yes, we all agree that SRGMP deserves the hype.

What we are saying here is - by creating the hype

- more audiences are attracted to the show
- the show's TRP ratings go up
- when the TRP ratings go up product/service comapanies get interested to advertise
- as a result SRGMP producers will receive that extra bit of money

Now what we are saying is that, when the producers are creating hype and making it a grand show and making that extra bit of money, comparitively, the winners of the show are not rewarded adequately...

Exactly, getting a break in film singing is an unknownfactor.

So, as you said, the winner may end up with a Maruti 800 and a rent-free two-bed room flat, to leave all their studies, work, family for an unknown future???

God bless those two talented winners and hope they get all the right breaks in film singing...and Zee enhances the prize money and specifies a good sum either by way of continuing contracts or by way of sponsored prizes to sustain the contestants enthusiasm...

I would say it is good to be trained by all the four mentors. Those who have specific voice and can sing a specific genre of songs really nice have already got a break through this programme.

yes they will be quite under rewarded...fg is giving more than saregamapa eventhough they dont have such good and talented singers as srgmp....they deserve more...

For the stress levels the contestants are going through, the winners better be rewarded well.

Agree. When KaBoom in Starplus can pay 50 lakhs for the winner in dancing competition, a popular programme like SRGMP should definitely reward the winners adequately, instead of saying, we will provide a flat, you stay there, you forget your work/studies for two years, you struggle for two years...awwwww
