Shahuraje rocked today, not only he stood by Balaji to the manipulative pressure put by Bappaji - almost demanding to be made Peshwa! Shahuraje handled Bappaji well giving him position - seeing the circumstances. However Balaji rose in Shahuraje's eyes while Bappaji fell.

I must say something which I always notice but somehow forgot to write. The costumes of all the characters in PB are fantastic. They are so apt for their roles and as per standard. So as Balaji Radhabai position has grown so has the richness of costumes. Radhabai sari today with the "shela" or shawl she was wearing had rich traditional paithani border, blouse had stunning embroidery. Balaji costumes are super. Baji Chimanaji and Bhiu also. Wish they would give good costumes to Malhar too. Costumes department is doing fantastic work.

Wish Gotya's wife actor was playing Kashi. I don't want to write what I feel when I see Kashi, it is not polite to write it.

Might miss episodes next week, absolutely no interest in watching Kashi 🤢

I have to praise the actor playing Shahuji. He has been given some really brilliant dialogues and he delivers them with so much strength. A very deserving son to Sambhaji Raje!

Regarding the marriage, most marriages in that era used to happen for political benefits. I was waiting to know who proposes it. 😆 So it is Shahuji. Hopefully leap will happen soon after marriage so that we don't have to tolerate the child Kashi for long. Hope to see a proper closure to all political and family affairs before the leap though and not a rushed one.

@Maddy, not just the costumes but the team is doing fantastic job with the jewelry too. It seems authentic according to that era.

I would like to say a few words regarding this show. This is a very beautifully directed show. Every aspect - the casting, costume, dialogues, the background set, everything of this show is simply awesome. Each and every actor is doing an excellent job. Even the negative characters - Chandrasen and others. My favorites are Baji's parents especially the senior Balaji Bhatt- simply awesome. I hope he continues to be the older Baaji 😊. Shahuji too is awesome. He has portrayed the bravery of real Shahuji so nicely and he is very handsome too.

I was wondering how someone as mature and modest as as RadhaBai could shun Mastani the way she did.

The dialogs were very cleverly written. While Chimna explicitly vows to always obey his mother, Baji promised to obey his parents and antaratma. Obviously his antaratma nudged him towards Mastani.

Kudos to the entire team and all departments. The only sore point is the choice of young Kashi and young Baji. The girl is hopeless. But the boy though very sincere completely lacks presence. Compare him to Siddharth Nigam and the boy playing Shani. He is not a crowd puller.

I just loved the last two episodes, both were awesome, how Baji exposed Chandrasen by saying the lie so that he himself admitted unknowingly his crime was just commendable, Baji is getting sharper day by day, thanx to Malhar specially for telling Baji to handle the situation carefully so that Chandrasen would've have left no words defending himself. I will become happy if he gets the punishment for killing his father..And yesterday's episode was completely blissful. Happy to see Baji family completed on Gotya's entry in Satara with his wife...He was damn hilarious, finally he married for swaraj...Really Gotya and Bhiu lights up this show with their hilarious acts...I liked how Shahuji didn't lose his trust on Balaji and completely opposes the decision of Bappaji's in making him Peshwa instead of Balaji. I just love the actor playing Shahuji, he just doing the role in a majestic way. And the vow made by Chimna and Baji on Radhabai's adesh had given a glimpse of the future, where Chimna vows to always obey his mother in every sitiuation of life, Baji didn't vow the same, instead he included his antaratma too alongwith his father and mother which reflects the fact how he will go against his family for Mastani in the future. Now I am really happy that the Kashibai gonna be replaced and hopefully her character shapes up well and the leap is not near then and we can see this cast for more time, specially Balaji-Radhabai and their sparkling chemistry.
