Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has had an
amazing journey, and has recently
been awarded with few prestigious
awards
irector's Kut Productions has
achieved the near impossible' by
resurrecting its long-running show
Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai after it lost
its popular lead faces in Karan Mehra
and Hina Khan.
Never in the history of Indian
television has a show been
reinvented' after seeing its lowest
ebb!!
It not only is doing really well on the
popularity and number charts but has
also gained huge fan following when
it comes to the younger generation
cast, who have literally taken the onus
on their shoulders, giving out good
performances after the exit of the
seniors.
Of course, the brilliant story and the
confidence of the makers and writers
in carrying forward the legacy even
after the fallout of the leads, speaks
volumes about the reason why the
show is super-successful today.
What's more?
Rajan Shahi's Director's Kut which has
always stood out for its high
production values has now been
bestowed upon with awards in
plenty!!
Yes, recognition and awards galore
for the team of Yeh Rishta...
Recently, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai
was conferred with Dada Saheb
Phalke Excellence Award for being the
longest running show on television.
Also, the production house was
awarded the Dada Saheb Phalke
Academy Award for being the best
production house.
What's more? The show is on course
to completing 2400 episodes very
soon and the recently held Star
Parivaar Awards was also fruitful for
the entire team as the show got few
awards out there.
So what's it that has clicked with the
audience?
Firstly, the Jodi of Karthik (Mohsin
Khan) and Naira (Shivangi Joshi) has
worked wonders, and the biggest
plus point has been the manner in
which their characters have been
etched. They are very real when it
comes to their thought process; the
leads have had a journey of their
own, having made mistakes and
learnt from them.
Also, the parallel tracks, especially the
one wherein awareness was created
about domestic violence and how this
social issue runs across all strata of
people got appreciated a lot.
And now, the ongoing track wherein
Karthik again goes through a very
natural process of feeling jealous on
finding his wife getting close with
another guy, has been garnering eye
balls.
When contacted, Producer Rajan
Shahi told us, "It has indeed been an
honour to receive the Dada Sahib
Phalke Award. I am very grateful to
my entire team of Yeh Rishta for
making it happen. Having said this,
we are working with renewed energy
with the show doing really well.
Kudos to the team of Yeh Rishta for
achieving this honour!!

Isn't the dada saheb phalke award the highest award that can be achieved in indian cinema. OMG that's amazing for the show and the production house.
