Hello guys, this is my first ever post on this NB forum, or India forums as a whole. I decided to write it down because I just couldn't keep it to myself how weirdly directed this episode was. I hated it, some dances were good, of course. Before blaming me for my biasedness, I would like to tell you my favorites. Before the show started, my favorites were Sanam and Abigail because I have been a huge Sanam fan. Then, it was Shoaib and Dipika (hated Simar but loved Deepika) and then ever since Monaya's tango, it had been Monaya. Love Abinaim's performances and Monaya's too. Secretly want Monaya to win but I know Abinaim deserve it so no argument.
1. It was totally odd how they showed the four couples performing on Terrence's challenge yesterday but poor Sidupti doing it today. It's like the show was scripted and they knew they were the ones leaving. Wow.
2. ALL the comments were cut out. Sonakshi's comments were omitted in every single performance (Mohit's challenge) and even TERRENCE LEWIS, THE MOST REASONABLE JUDGE'S comments were also omitted in Monaya's performance.
3. The performances were moving at such a fast pace with no break between them that it was so weird to follow up, oh God. As if they had squished up so much in an episode that they had no space for any gags or anything between performances. Even though they get on your nerves, now I know you need a joke or two at least because it gets uncomfortable.
4. Mohit giving the challenge video was shown with every contestant except Shoaib and Dipika. Quite odd.
Funny how every single contestant and judge were shocked on Monaya being in bottom 2 and Dipika went all "what'. Everyone knows they deserve to be in top 2, if not win but SP games. Games like calling out divyanka in every single episode like Shoika's segment this time. Absolutely pathetic. It makes less sense because they said that the bottom 2 was including yesterday's Terrence's challenge. How can that even be possible? They got a perfect 30 on such a beautiful act while Shoika got 25. The difference of votes between the number 1 Sanaya Irani and Deepika can't so huge.
It feels they gave a 30/30 to everyone to test who gets the most votes because in my opinion, none of them deserved a perfect 30. I am going to very technical, given its the third last week but yeah, not fair. Yes, Abinaim being the best of the four was justified.
Divek: Loved the intensity of the act and how the message was flying through because of the wonderful acting of the two and the pace of the act. It was going so fast and all that you feel the obsession but is it just me who thought it was clumsy? I could not understand the steps at all because they were leaving it incomplete. Plus, who designed the horrendous dress that Divyanka wore? Undoubtedly Divek's best act so far (excluding the hip hop Vivek did with his choreographer) but a 27/30 in my opinion.
Abinaim: Loved the dancing. Dancing wise 30/30. Innovative and new how they were doing gunshot steps symbolizing that their love was fighting all obstacles but again, if you recount the concept, there was nothing except two dialogues. And love did not win, they went with the cliche of dying together. So I felt it was not in sync with the theme given to them except two dialogues that they used. I may be wrong so you can argue they deserved a 30.
Monaya: Similar complain as Abinaim because the theme was a conflict between the two. How was the acid attack a conflict between the two? I didn't get it but the theme as a general was wondeful. The portion they did towards the end where they danced like two solos (not touching each other) was one of the best synchronization I have ever seen in my life following almost all shows. Loved it but I felt that it did not go with the theme, and that it was great but not good enough for a 30 at such a huge level in the competition. They are my favorites so not saying as a Divek fanboy. Arguably a 30/30 tho.
Shoika: Wonderful new avatar of the two and I liked it but again, they were walking in most steps from here to there and except a lift or two, there was nothing. They could have tried Rumba or something and the dance was good (not great) but it wasn't the perfect dance in imperfect situations that the theme required. Plus, they missed the doll part so yeah, it was an honest mistake but it was a mistake. It should be considered negatively if someone slips from their hand or if they miss something like Bharti and Harsh did. It's a mistake that should be considered.
Now I may have made some comments upwards that you may not agree with (most of them) but this is my first post and everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Also, I welcome criticism because I would love to discuss this with you all. Love you!
